I dont know myself sometimes, but i do try my best.

I should be able to catch up on all platforms and systems by the end of the week end.
It seems the guys at myfxpage are still not winning with the general tab problem, where users cant see the whole caption of notes. I will remove the full set files and keep to main change notes if thats okay with all. If anyone wants the set files from a particular system, please just PM the detailed name of the system to me and i'll send it right over.

Updating Xmeters and will probably wipe some of the older positions out to start fresh. Its become clear that the FP series cannot deal with the DD from the version 2.3's so this might show a better indication of what the EA can do with-out previous EA positions. Will try to throw in the Crossfader also. The 7,8,9's and BnBulls update. I'm running all versions of BnB because they all winning. Only one is in full DD and i happen to have witnessed an attempt by the EA to wipe out the DD, but the trend changed and it closed the 2 new positions in profit with out managing to wipe the DD. Thats version 1.0.2 and i havent given up on that one yet either.

BM & Fries seems to have hit the skids, its not trading anymore and cant understand that one, it hasnt taken a trade since early december, anyone experience this also.? I noticed something about htis on the thread and havent caught up there yet.
MultiMac is trading and seems to be doing well with the set file i set up. No SL or TP's just following through all the positions until JS and BE take care of them. I can tell you that no new postions are taken until all the older positions are closed, so this can be a good thing and a bad thing. Will look to update the newer versions as soon as i get through all the reading and following up.

BBBE is showing progress although i keep getting those pesky invalid stops alerts, will check on set file from ALex about this.

DayBreak trader has stopped losing so badly, lets see if it can make up for the original losses.

FR 9.02 is still in heavy DD and dont want to stop this as in a REAL acct, we would nt be able to just hit the 'reset' button. Have now stopped looking for only a win situation and willing to let the losers get cut off. I think FR would make it back in a short while anyways. Changes made already upto to L4 and then consider closing at a SL point.

GDay 2 woke up mid-week, had a quick desert, and then went back to sleep before the week end. No trades open at the mo, leaving this one as-is for a while longer.

I'm retiring The Beast, :( , its far too slow for whats out there these days, the only one i'm carrying on with is Pippos version with the Fix from JL and Snoopier. It seems to be following the rules and has now reached the point where the account is nearly maxed out. I might have to cut down (or be more selective) on pairs used as pointed out by Macman. Lets see how he handles the DD for now.

Thats it for now, will post when something new comes up and good luck all for the new week.

Hi George ! Is it right - you stoped most of your demos ? What happened ? Did AVA again stoped you out ? I see only the last 3 demos in your portfolio are actualizing constantly ? Hmmm ... ? :? :?

Hi AGT,
you're right.
i was trying all day to get one to update. The passwords are correct as usual, but again, ava has been messing with their demo servers without informing anyone about corrective measures. It seems all my ava criminal demos have stopped updating since Feb 26th.

The rest are all okay, but most of the demos seem to be on ava. I'm going to be moving them over soon to new crims like GP , Boston and keeping the markets demos running as normal. The bad is that the info will be lost, but at least we can still have some demos on dealer-desk crims and ECN crims.

thanks for noticing, will have you updated with results soon before the shift over to new platforms. Dropping some EA's and going to concentrate on just a handfull.

I like how you and Acostafulano are testing your EA's. Nice to also see the crossfader thread growing so rapidly with all the enthusiasm. My demos are also doing nicely with Crossfader. Will update on all soon.

"to new crims like GP" If we're already calling them  what might we expect them to be(come)!? lets give GP the chance to prove themselves B-rockers ;)

  ,
very true Kevin,
just force of habit i suppose. Great respect for Jem and the crew at GP and also going to be opening a live account with them too soon.
Its hard to let go of the word 'crims',

I AM EXCITED.... I recently coded a new EA that I am evaluating which I hope to post in the future. I can't post it now since it does not yet meet all of Steve's criteria with length of time tested and testing with real $$ (I am not using real $ until the EA has several months of demo success).

Anyways... today's results from demo account morning trading looks extremely promising with $984 profit. 4 losers = $42 total. 46 winners = $1,026. This was on a $7,080 starting balance in the demo account. If the balance were higher there would have been greater profits but due to my margin min I did not have large enough balance to open other possible winning (or losing) trades. All trades were 0.10 lot size with 2 orders per pair that I traded. Close out for small profit on order #1 and let #2 ride to high profits. The EA seems very promising, but only additional time testing will determine long term profitability.

Attached is a screenshot of today's most recent orders closed. I will provide additional updates as I continue to test drive this new EA.

Thanks sportbuf,
look forward to testing your EA when you're ready to post it.
Your results look very impressive and i see your trades reflect trading all sessions. Most the EA's did rather well today, so correctly stated that you would need to run a few forward test runs and maybe a few Backtests if your code allows. Good luck and thanks for the post.

Hi all,
sorry ive been a little scarce lately. Some may have noticed my problems with the ava crim demos have re-appeared. All ava demos have stopped updating since the 26th of feb. Looking into it with my account manager, but it looks like it would be better to move over to another broker like Global Prime.

Have already set up the new demos on the PC's, just checking for stability for the last few days and will then start to update the fxpage book thingy again with the new brokers.
Its unfortunate but the ava demos are going to have to go. Cant keep wasting time with them and it looks like the problems will continue. I just cant keep updating and wasting so much time on them every couple of weeks /months. We need to get stable, concrete results from variuous brokers like the testing by AGT, Acostafulano, Spot, Houston, and others on BigMac. Really fantastic to see demos by so many and this is exactly the help the coders need so they can better understand how to code their EA's.

My BM tests incude Renexxx's version 0.80 and 0.82. I am still on 0.14 and hovering around break even for the month so far. Trying trigger 1 and 2, with trigger 2 showing %100 profit since beginning MArch on 50k account and 0.01 lot sizes. Will post when i see something for sure. Great work by Bunker, Gary, Gary, George and Paul.

Huge drive over at Crossfader, exellent results form my side too. Havent had a death trade on any of the forweard testing ive been doing so far, but definately looks good so far. I will post the results on VM's thread when i gather everything. No Crossfader EA has failed on me so far and i chose them at random as they were been released. All showing about 10% growth for the month and very steady. Crossfader 6.2 seems to be the most stable or riskfree, with $2111.55 profit from 10k account and running this one since 4th december with 30 pipstep and additional pips2BE at 10. also 10% risk of the balance. Currently all positions closed.

Xmeters are still cruising, no problems although i'm starting to have doubts about the hedging and the follow parts of them. I always used to look for the same/similar trades manually, but it seems to be better to trade them manually, rather than trying to automate the extra positions. Not sure yet, but toned down the NoLimits version as it's very dangerous, live with Speed V5, FP9, and Evo1 with US version set file posted for allisonmagic. ALso running many demos to test the LookbackBar option. As low as 20 and high as 84. ALso testing v2.3.7c with a SL of 100 and 250 on some versions. Today, the 100 SL kicked in and the JPY turned against me so this shows me the 100 SL is too low, but its the first time and will let that demo run for a few months before making a decision.

Trendy Gary is still buying only and have gone into a very high DD position because of the GBPUSD crash recently, but the position came back a little today. Lets see what happens with the recent news coming out of the UK.

BearsnBulls is still chugging along, i think i would not hold onto these positions in a live account. ALso went into huge DD after showing very good results. It seems to need a cutt-off point, or correction to its selection of positions. Sometimes coming in too late after a sudden spike , BB tries to follow the move.

FxPoolers ver 6c is also trading nicely. Conservative, no big trading tart here and will continue to test that one. Will post in thread when results are gathered and checked.

I retired all the poor old Beast versions, but Simple Beast seems to be doing very nicely on Global Prime. 6 pairs traded with 3 open GBPUSD positions open in L3 but made up quite a bit today. $1367.31 profit on GP crim, since 8th Jan. I dont think thats bad at all from 10k acc with no interfering at all and probably the best ive had for the BEast EA's so far.

Looking forward to 10.4, especially if Paul-Baluda can RetroFit his Multi for it.

Baybreaker and BBBE are on the skids for me. Cant seem to get consistancy there.

Bobs bot is getting too slow, but looking at ll the 10.2 EA's as it s decision time now.

Will update ASAP and post in relevant threads.
regards,
cuz
