I think I can see what you are trying to do, so maybe this will go some way to help. I've hacked a multi timeframe moving average to determine the start of the month - Moving Averages_onTF - place that on your chart to see where price opens each month (or week etc.). NB it assumes a minimum period of 2 for SMA, so to get the exact open use EMA with a period of 1. I understand your comment. Each version assumes previous knowledge of other systems but when I post this final version I will try to write it from a viewpoint that no one has read the previous tests and versions. All previous versions were learning points to a final complete system. Again the final and complete system can be adjusted to different traders things he knows and likes to use. That is why I think it will take me 2 or more weeks to finish. I live and work in China and after Friday I have 3 weeks off for Spring Festival. I working hard now to clear out all my school responsibilities so I can focus completely on setting up my trading for the year and spending time with my family. Then when spring festival is over I am well planned ahead in my work and set up with my trading. So I will sit down and do what I love most to do, teach. It is my passion and my life. Whether in a classroom of first and second graders, or PHD and Master degree classes or anything in between. I love to stand in front of a group of people and give practical useful knowledge I have learned in the school of hard knocks. Forex gives me a place to relax and do what I love to do. I just got done with my classroom and have it ready for tomorrow. Time to go home, make some homemade Mac and Cheese with tuna and sit down and watch a good movie before seeing if some trade setups are at the USA open. Yes there is one thing, the magnified price. Can you put just below that number the number of pips to the 240 MA like you did in you MWDP indi? That is for the 4H chart. It would display that number on all TF. Indi attached. This number is going to be used to determine original entry lot size. Sorry but only have exe. code I dont have original code.Baluda wrote:Bob,
