I know 10.2a is the hot thing right now, I I really do like the look. Just wondered if anybody stayed with 10.2 or use it in a situation different to 10.2a.

I'm still staying with the 10.2, it is extremely profitable if you only enter based on 4HR signals and when price is near the pivot line and apply tight stop losses and jumping stops. Usually you enter say 6 pairs and the RR ratio is about 1:6. And the thing is usually you will expect price to move in your favour soon since it is a momentum entry so after two hours or so if price isn't moving you should close out the losing trades for a small loss and add to the ones that are about 20 pips in profit. I find that this strategy works perfectly and most of the time you end up with a few 20 pips losses and a few 80 or more pips winning trades.

You don't really have to worry about false breakouts because the break even is set really fast once you are twenty pips in profit and you must make sure never trading against a strong trend on the daily.

Typically for a week you'll get say 15 -20 entries and you will pocket about 300-400 pips of profit consistently if you trade four hour charts... Some of the trades can be held on to for longer time periods to target monthly pivots if the daily trend seems to be accelerating....

I am not making the pips shellsnail is but I am being really picky about my trades for now.

Once I am completely confident of my trend-trading stuff, I will start looking again at range/sr failure trading.

10.2A is simpler but is also more dependent on trader 'feel' or background knowledge/understanding. Every time Bob posts a trade, he includes in his trading rationale something that is not actually a part of 10.2A as he describes it.

To be honest, I think 10.2 tells us how traders should learn to trade. As I have done, they can drop off stuff they do not need. 10.2A requires traders to add stuff they may well not understand; I consider it to be a blind alley unless the trader has a lot of experience.

I could be wrong - I frequently am. I just know that I am trading profitably and without massive dd for the first time in my Forex career.

Hello, my name is Rob.

I am a completely new to this system. I downloaded everything and basically I am about 50/50 in my trades hoping to increase it above the break even level. Everything looks promising but I understand it requires me to make a promise and thoroughly read through everything. I have read the 10.2 (I don't have 10.2a, is that revised version?) manual and put some work into it but it will take some time.

I will be a lurker for now and simply study away but I am basically a single father, so when I am not working or taking care of my son... I will study away. Thanks.

Hey. Im new here. And i downloaded all files and read instructions. But i didnt get what all files i need to copy to my MT, There are so many files.

And like you know there are three folders in Indicator zip files. Do i copy all files from there to my Indicator folder?
