MPTM's new home

Hi all I am new here and not sure if this is the correct place to post this question?? It is MPTM related.

I have followed the instructions of placing the MPTM mlq4 file in the indicators folder and the "remove stop losses" mlq4 file in scripts. I have opened and closed my Empty4 platform and restarted my computer with no avail to get the MPTM to run on screen when I have a trade open.

When I drag the EA on to the chart the terminal box flickers and under the expert tab there is a log that both the MPTM and remove stop loss script were loaded, but for some reason they are removed. For the stop loss script it lists the reason as "uninit 0". Update: I tried setting a stop loss and the stop loss script did remove the SL , but the MPTM is still removed form the chart for some reason.
If anyone has an idea how to fix that would be greatly appreciated.

mptm is an ea and needs to go into your Expert Advisors folder.

Looks to me as though you need a visit to http://www.babypips.com/school/. I am not being rude here - most of us learned the basics there. It is one of the most valuable sites available to new Forex traders.

Hi chaps, I have a specific question re the Candlestick stop feature. I cannot find an answer here or at Forexfactory so I hope you don't mind me asking. I cannot get it to work. I am in demo, I am in a 1 min chart as I thought it might activate quicker. I have ManageAll Trades set to true. Pictured is my trailing stop settings, are they correct? I have Allow DLL imports ticked as well.

Anybody ?? who can tell me the right or latest or stable version of MPTM??
last year I collected about two dozen, and want to clear up a bit. ..

Hi Daz ,

Since you are using candlestick trail timeframe as 1,
It may be very close to set a sl from the current price .
So try may be 15 or 60 , It will work.

please post the set file, if you dont get the answer you're looking for, it should have worked the way you described.
Didi you set the basket by magic number? how did you identify the basket for MPTM to 'see' it.?

Hi there!

I got a little issue as well with this impressive tool.

First, when I loaded mptm with custom settings, it was absolutely fine. But since I changed BE settings, it doesn't want to open "properties" window neither by clicking nor pressing F7. Did anyone have something like this before?

It does not open properties even after removing ea and attaching once again to the chart with the initial settings.

I tried it twice with 2 different brokers. I have an assumption that it has happened because I set BE profit figure to 0.7 (commission equal), but in information window it was written as "1 pip" - like it does not really accept improper (5 digit) pips, despite it was mentioned that it does. But it just what I think, unfortunately I don't have enough knowledge to be able to analyse this problem deeper.
