It's a good tip about UPnP. Most of the problem is in the router manufacturers' implementation of uPnP, rather than UPnP itself, and some routers are worse than others, but better safe than sorry.

Unfortunately, turning this off screws up port forwarding, P2P, VoIP etc. and you'll have to find workarounds if you need those features or if you need to connect to a game server ...in between waiting for your trade triggers :).
