10.3 SCALPER/RANGE TRADE SYSTEM

In the spirit of, "Let's give this a whirl and see" and, "Buy the dips", the yellow vertical line shows the candle where I took the trade:

Nothing any more scientific - no pivots etc. This is a demo trade so I am going to let it run until I close it accidentally. Live, and the visual tp point is pretty obvious:

Given that The Japanese want their currency to weaken, I look forward to seeing how the more sophisticated thingy with pivots etc will catch the break our from the range.

The correction has been made to the 10.4 DailyPivots so as to use the Friday Candle for calculation of Daily Pivots for Sunday and Monday. If anyone has a Saturday or Sunday candle, this correction to the 10.4 Daily Pivots should fix it.

The updated files for the 10.4 pivots are in the attached .zip file. The above correction have been added to all the 10.4 pivot files, however they aren't used unless you change files for weekly or monthly pivots to work with daily pivots

Note: These files are not ready for release yet. Bob wants to test them first!!

I decided that there is no way I am going to get the range trading section done before I go to the USA. In fact it may not even be necessary since other pairs will be trending when some are ranging. I will give my reasons why later. I will finish my paper and do the best to proof read them. I have had 5 people send me back proof read copies and I will blend the changes.

Unbelievable but I increased my account 5.5% in one day and that was trading at 1.5% of my account most of the time. I had 4 trades go over 100 pips and 1 trade at 90. Despite the big gbp/nzd trade my best two trades were the eur/jpy and gbp/jpy. Both hit their TP while I was asleep. I took 16 trades and was 14-2. The 2 I closed I just want to reset today and see what happens.

Now that Baluda has the MM indi working properly it takes a lot less time to figure my lot sizes. Anyway the adventure begins and hope to have it all posted before the USA session. I will be busy but starting tomorrow I have to get certain things done before we leave for the USA. Will be meeting with some of the traders there who live in the area.

Remember the EA that could set three trades from one EA. Can you make it do pending orders. In other words if I set it at sell it will set the next 3 lines of pivots S/R MS/MR with pending orders. Or buys it would do that for buys too. That would be cool.

Frank I am getting some kind of Monday squeeze on the daily pivots. Probably using the Sunday candles to set the pivot and stuff. Can you correct this?

I'll take a look at it! Hopefully, the updated pivots will take care of that?!

By the way, Cowboy IBFX has a indi called Daily_Pivots that comes with their Empty4 platform. It visually displays the pivot value and also draws a short horizontal line to show where the pivot should be. I used it on 10.4 Daily Pivots with good success.

Any Chance you might get a lil Stop - Over in London ( Heathrow Airport) would be Nice to put a Face to the LEGEND......

I know it's wishful thinking but one Never Knows... wishes have an Uncanny way of coming true these days...

Hehehehehehehehe, you just reminded me I still have a Half finished bottle of Brandy somewhere in my Kitchen and I am already thinking of Drinking to this but with me Clothes on though.
