Chop Suey... I hope one of our resident coders finds this model interesting enough to produce an EA. Method is on the chart. 2 filters...1) Price must be rising for a Buy from candle(s) opening below Buy line), or falling for a Sell from candle(s) opening above Sell line), and 2)Can not make Buy, or Sell at same price more than once in 12 hrs. I prefer to see candle that triggers trade open at least 5 pips before trigger point, but not required. The mkt doesn't have to trend for this to work... G/U appears to be especially attracted to rounds, and half-rounds...

Thanks, had seen the other models, but had forgotten... Please don't take this the wrong way, but I think this is better... Better R:R, and better filters... I don't want any filtering done by indys... Prefer to keep method based on PA alone... BTW, Doesn't look to me that the other models underwent sufficient evaluation......

I think GT3RS's idea on page 5 of orig. AlpenKorps thread has great merit... Remedy to,"wallowing," problem... So, a second filter... Can not make Buy, or Sell at same price more than once in 12 hrs... If model doesn't make pips with these two filters in place, whammo... off to the junk heap...

imo the first and most important question before some mind power and time is invested into an EA should be:

- is the strategy tested for some weeks and months in manual forward testing trades?
- no = end here, test it, show the results ...
- yes = please show the results of your manual trading (only this system, not mixed with other trades)

Well Dietmar, you certainly are a no nonsense guy... However, the community will decide what to do with this... not one member only. The method has not been tested. I am hoping for a BOT so that it can be tested... with some good tick data. There are members here who can probably code this simple method in 30 min. or less, with half their brain tied behind their back. Hope The Beast is performing well for you...
