Dang nice moves by gbp/nzd and nzd/jpy. gbp/nzd 800 pips so far this week. Didnt I talk about that one in my book. How did I miss that one. DANG
Maybe it is just this week - but it looks like you need to enter 104 trades at the beginning of the week...

Nothing in the manual about Counter Trend Trading, only Trend & Ranging is explained, but sometimes, I think, you just have to trade towards the 240 MA.
Well, it isn't counter trend. 240 MA is below the price, so based on Bob method, it is still an uptrend (and especially at the time the trade triggered).
To me it's retrace in a trend (we're right at 50% fib).

For sure this week this would have been beneficient.
Scroll back and you will see the set-up happening every time during the week, sometimes early and sometimes later in the week.

What about pending trades still open at fridays? Leave them and adjust on monday or remove them?

My EURAUD triggered during asian.
SL was almost hit by 5 or 6 pips. The trade doesn't looks good at the moment but seems H4 bounced a bit on the weekly support.

I would love to read your comments.

offering my 2cents here,
I have been considering to place the stoploss just beyond the next level if the MA is so close to price.
Rule might be to always have a level between price and the stoploss, in this case the stop would be just beyond S1. A buffer would be a different approach, having the stop 10 pips lower than the MA, as the MA is touched and respected often. Many touches and no breaks in the previous weeks on this pair.
Trades so close to the MA give the best bang-for-buck trades though, so it's definitely worth going for them.
I have also been thinking of moving the stopout point closer to price action if the MA is too far away as it was 2 days before, maybe 2 or 3 pivots below price, to add some juice to the profits.

looking at more calmly, it was simply a loss.

cheers.

Well, I knew that, your trade wasn't counter trend, but the price action sure was!

I was suggesting was that maybe that was the way to trade it, especially with 20/20 hind sight, price always goes back to the 240 MA at some point, that's all

Depends on the PA... :)
Most likely not, as after a gap the openingprice of the week will be the opening of the order and makes no sence anymore with regard to MM and such.

Dear Bob
I am greatful for your creativeness, your spirit of sharing, your modesty and your teaching, very greatful.
Actually I had set up my 10.x trading system step by step, set up the different accounts after reading all your booklets again and wanted to start trading it life the day you published 10.4 - what a surprise and what a pleasure!
Your teaching has really helped me to start to understand Fx and stop loosing. THANKS AGAIN. But there has always been one tiny issue, which has really increased my confusion: pips and points. I still mess up indicators and EAs, because some refer to "Pips" and others to points, the last of which you love to call pips too. (I hope I do not confuse the reader.) So for instance I use a 10.x EA, set a SL of 60 Pips just to get my trade closed at a loss of 6 Pips, because ... shit it happens to me again and again.
I know there has been talk about it in your threads and I had understood the matter was settled. But now it comes up again in 10.4: on your Market Info B-Indi you use Pips as everybody else, but on your R/R Ratio Indi you use pips meaning points and we're ready for the next confusion. Steve, or other coders will they use pips or points or both?
So I beg you, PLEASE use "pips" for "pips" and points for points. E.g. the PipValue for EURUSD = $10 and not $1.000 and TargetPrice as well as StopLossPrice are 1/10th of what the Indi says.
If I should be all wrong it just proofs that pips and points have really messed me up
Thanks Mike

Here is an AUDUSD short I've taken yesterday.

- Protected by the trendline
- Back In the huge triangle since 2009 !
- Red bar on AO

Looking to parity :)

Thanks for posting this. Looks like a great trade to me!

Big thanks to Nanningbob for all your hard work and delivering this amazing method. I'm visually backtesting various pairs over the last couple years to speed up the learning curve.. I'll report any insights I discover.
I will be a 100 lot trader : )
