Also Bob, if I understand correctly, the RSI 2 is actually using the data array from TMA slope histo indi and it's not actually a standard standalone RSI which is why the extra CPU load for some of us (not me of course).

Hello, I can't find the RSI2 indi in the zipfolder on post 1. Did I missed something? The 10.4 v 1.01 template loads the standard Empty4-indi it seems.
Thanks for clarifying this.

RSI2 is just an Rsi 2 period applied to TMA values, nothing else.
Personally, I switched to Stoc as it's Empty4 built-in.

Ludo....

Bob has replaced the RSI2 with the Shoch5.

That's why it is not available anymore.

Hi Pueo :)
Pueo wrote:Hi guys, I'm really excited about how this strategy can give us good trades and keep us out of trouble!

I thought I would share something with you. I put together an "at a glance", weekly bar trend terminal so it gives me a quick visual on which pairs I am interested to trade for each week and which ones I prefer to avoid.. 8ma open (monthly 2ma x 4 weeks) and a 4ma open (this virtually represents a 2 week trend and helps show which pairs are in a smooth trend). I also put a 120 lwma open on my chart to give a heads up when the pair appears to be shifting trend.
That's the spirit!
Every input counts for something ;)
Can you post the template file/s you came up with?

Cheers, Kevin :D

Sure Kevin, see attached.

If we have a glance at the NZDUSD for example, we can see that it hasn't been respecting the ma's. There is a trendline underneath though which would be a better support level for a stop. Its an easy way to get a feel for the trend.

Cheers

PS. I just fixed something and updated in case you downloaded in the last few minutes, the template ema was on simple instead of lwma..

EURGBP Pendings

Post by mjws00 »

OK. Here is a live one. We are coming out of pegged RSI. My backtesting is showing that the RSI twitch is the best time to place pendings... so here we go. I am a few pips above the pivot.

How bout post the charts as you take em so we can see these things folks. Best way to learn, imho.

Mike

GBPCHF Pending

Post by mjws00 »

RSI moved. Pending sell set at Weekly Mid Support. Maybe we get a better entry. Will set again when clear of weekly pivot.

We are well away from 240 and it is tilted down nicely. Hopefully a nice safe place to trade.
