Useful 10.x thingies by Steve and Others

Hi NB fan's,

Here is the NB 10.4 Dashboard !
Pretty straight forward, it will alerts you when there is an opportunity to trade, based on Bob's rules.
You can now scan all your favorite pairs on one single screen and you will have sound alerts & mobile alerts.

The most important setting in the dashboard is the "pair" parameter.
Just add all the pairs you want to scan BUT be sure to correctly set them :
- If you have a broker with normal pairs syntax like "EURUSD", "USDCAD", etc ... just write them as is : "EURUSD,USDCAD," separated with a comma.
- if you have a broker and have a suffix or prefix add to your pairs like "mEURUSD", or "EURUSD.G", write them like this : "mEURUSD,mUSDCAD" or "EURUSD.G, USDCAD.G" etc ...

For the mobile notifications, be sure to enable it (and have the app installed on your smartphone). Go to Empty4->Tools->Options->Notifications.

There is 5 types of alerts (as suggested by theforexedge) :
1. 240MA Cross - Indicate Buy or Sell Trend Change Alert
2. 240MA Above (Buy) / RSI Flat line 0 / Awesome Oscillator Green - Buy Alert
3. 240MA Below (Sell) / RSI Flat Line 100 / Awesome Oscillator Red - Sell Alert
4. 240MA Above (Buy) / RSI Flat line 100 / Awesome Oscillator Red - Trade Exit Alert
5. 240MA Below (Sell) / RSI Flat Line 0 / Awesome Oscillator Green - Trade Exit Alert

As I coded that when market was closed, it hasn't been tested. All should be working fine except for the exit alerts.

Lio, thanks great ... Going through the Alerts .... hmm ... I just do not know., Following the 10.4 rules the alerts will be too late, since 10.4 does not wait for AO to change, i.e.

1. 240MA Cross - Indicate Buy or Sell Trend Change Alert
2. 240MA Above (Buy) / RSI Flat line 0 - Set Pending Buy Alert
3. 240MA Below (Sell) / RSI Flat Line 100 - Set Pending Sell Alert
would be the Set Pending Trades Alert

Buy Alerts would look something like
2. 240MA Above (Buy) / RSI Flat line raising from 0 to > 10 - Buy Alert
3. 240MA Below (Sell) / RSI Flat Line falls from 100 to <90 - Sell Alert
in the above rules I have arbitrarely chosen >10 and <90, I do not know, what would be the adequat number, avoiding whiplashing and not beeing late.

Then I would like to see a dream feature: If your indi could highlight crosses (+ xPips) of Pivot-S/R when price is going into the wrong direction while RSI is 0 or 100 waiting to get triggered - that would be just great.

Here are a couple of useful scripts that come in handy. Not mine, just passing them along.

:arrow: Change Template-All. Make sure your template is in the root Template folder, not the one under the Experts folder. Now look under Charts>Template and find the template you loaded and note it's position in the list.

Load the script, and under Inputs, change the value to 0, 1, 2, 3, etc. depending the rank in the Template list.

Tip: After you load all the templates, you will have to go back and manually load the 10.4 Info page template.


:arrow: Change TF-All. In the inputs screen, change the Value to 240 for a H4 chart.

I use these two scripts a lot.

First ITM bug has already munched its way to the surface.

ITM places sl/tp fine, but does not draw the relevant lines if Stealth is not being used (might not do so if S is being use either but have not tested that).

Hic not going to try to do anything about this tonight hic for what should be obvious hic reasons. In case anyone has been on Mars for the last 12 months and so not learned, it is because altake of incohol and Cteve's Soding mo not dix. More tomorrow.

Thanks Lio! The dashboard is great. If you could add an email alert option I would appreciate it. My android phone isn't working with the push notifications but I have an app that I use which receives the email alerts..

I agree... It would be great if you could set true/false for each ma, rsi, and ao in the settings for what would trigger a Buy/Sell Alert. Great work! This is really going to help day job workers like myself.

I have GBPAUD & AUDNZD showing green and UT in the dashboard. But my Empty4 charts are definitely showing them below the 240MA.

Don't know if your problem resolved. Here is screen shot of your offending pairs. Dash matches template for me. Cowboy IBFX demo. Restart Empty4, refresh the dash? Maybe re-install the indicators?
