10.3 SCALPER/RANGE TRADE SYSTEM

Hi,

is there any further discussion about 10.3 around? I ve been looking for in other section of this website and couldn't find it. I know that Bob has launched 10.4 and I am following that thread also. But while waiting for any setup in H4, I try to find setup in H1.

I'll be very happy t o have active discussion/sharing about 10.3 though I am a bit late to get here

I ultimate goal was to put 10.3 and 10.4 together so you could do both kinds of trading both short term and long term. But 10.3 is very valid and i am trying to see if trading it while following the 10.4 trend read will make it better. However at this time I am on a family trip to California and seeing my grandchildren and sons so i will only be popping in and out. I will not be doing any trading this week unless I find a time with nothing to do. Unlikely though. So will be back in China next week Wed or Thurs and will pick up things then. Good luck.

First thanks for the system/ Next I will apoligize in advance if this is posted inthe wrong place or if I am not yet allowed to post because I dont have enough experience, I was blasted with nasty PM's after my last post because I didnt do do something correct.

I have been trading for only 6 months and am trying to learn as much as possible and my forum etiqute may not be up to snuff.


So is there a version of 10.3 that will plot the DR S/r lines across the entire chart for the day instead of always staying ahead of the last candle. Also change the line style

Is it possible to have the indicator leave teh SR lines from the previous day much the way it does teh DP and OPL

Hi Bob,

hopefully you enjoyed your vacation and landed safely at home. Unfortunately I will bother you with a few questions errrr or perhaps the need for some suggestions:

1. Is it better for me to avoid being exposed to a particular pair when I picked pairs to trade?
2. Is it recommended to read H4 TMA slope value to take 10.3 setup (above 0.4 = buy and below -0.4 = sell) or I can just take any value because 10.3 is supposed to work with range market?
3. When you wrote this in the booklet "I like to place my EAs about an hour before the Euro Open...", do you mean Frankfurt open or London open?
4. When you wrote this on the thread "Take the currency pairs which have retraced behind the DO and see if they will continue following the trend", should I also consider price flow as well (higher high/higher low or lower high/lower low) before placing an order?

Hopefully I can get some advice here to improve my trading method. It seems what I do now is not good enough to make me survived these few last days.

It's me again

Hopefully 10.3 traders here can give some opinion about my GU entry. I was looking for short setup based on:
10.2 - H4: Daily Pivot below Weekly Pivot, Weekly Pivot below Monthly Pivot. TMA was below -0.4.
10.3 - H1: Daily Open below Daily Pivot. Waiting for price to retrace above Daily Open. Previous 3 bars have long wicked upper tail, previous 2 bars closed above Daily Open and I thought it can't close above Daily Pivot.

So when price broke Daily Open, I place an order 5 pips below Daily Open. The order was close by SL 18 pips.

I need some suggestion is there anything more to be considered before placing a setup for 10.3. For example, should I wait for TMA on H1 to be lower than -0.4 before placing a short entry?

Any comment would be appreciated.

YES, If the one on page 1 post 1 is not working properly let me know and I will investigate. I plan to update 10.3 by this weekend and have another indi which you can back test better also.

No you did nothing wrong. Just a losing trade which happens. I have been surprised by the GBP this week. GBP lost its top rating for the first time in history and I was expecting it to drop significantly this week. It did its gap at the beginning of the week which I expected but then has climbed back which is the surprise. We will see how this goes but it looks like the European currencies will take front page for a while possibly all spring. JPY will reenter again sometime in April so that is going to be one wild month.

When you have more time I would like to have more explanation about my previous post below. Also looking forward for the update of 10.3, I really like this method with the H1 TF. Not too fast, but still let me have some activities in front of my notebook.

Corrected DO wMA filter now have both DO and DP EAs with MA filter--Delete old MA filter EAs and replace with these

10.3 dashboard--Add to your chart

TMA NORM correction--Delete old version, replace with new version, save your template with changes.

Where do I find this " 10.3 dashboard"
would appreciate help! thx

I think you can use that MultiTenPointThree v1.1.0 indicator attached with the update to have an overview of market situation using 10.2 and 10.3 reading.
