I am using the 1% risk figure in demo ($18K account). I'm watching EURAUD and the calculated lot size is 35.97 lots! The calculated size seems to be moving with the price action. I thought the risk factor shouled be fixed at the pivot and not move. Something a little strange going on. I deleted the indy, and re-booted the Empty4, to no avail.

Any ideas?
The indi shows how much risk to take with a current market order. i.e distance from price to 240MA. No way for it to know which pivots you intend to take. So it will be a big number when moving around the 240.

Is that what you're looking for?
Just reading through these threads and saw this post. To get a completely blank chart for displaying an indi or whatever you just need to get rid of grids (if on) with ctrl+g then go to properties (F8) and set line graph to "none" and change the chart to Line Graph instead of bars or candles. You don't need to change all the other stuff to "none". Hopefully this saves a few mouse clicks :)

Cheers,
Dave.

And when you have done this, save it as a 'blank' template, then copy it from demo to demo as you open each new one - tis what I do.

:D
Read the effing manual, ok?

It is based on the distance from the 240 MA line so if your 2 pips above it a 1% risk for a 1% loss, that would be the figure. SL is 2 pips away. Obviously you would think this through. However if you want to take a monster trade here is your chance.

I guess my question is about the indicator itself. I thought it operated by "looking" at the pivot, then making the calculation. I think that would be more useful, to me anyway, than simply looking at the price line.

:D
Or you can save the template as default.tpl and then it opens automatically every time you load a new chart.

If I recall that was the case of an experienced trader who made a mistake and read Steve's post as "EA" when Steve explicitly said "script". The difference being, of course, that a script runs just once.

Right click on the chart and you'll have a remove script option.
