EU was closed by ITM after a change of Awesome colour.

Hi Steve,

Am I correct when I'm saying that in order for the AO-colour change closing to be initiated, it will close at the close of the first candle that has the other colour?

So if the sequence is something like;
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
R R R R G R G G G

The open orders will close at the close of candle '5'?

Yes, or rather at the open of candle 6 as it cannot know when 5 will close until it closes.

Bloody hell fire and damnation. You guys are seriously lucky that I do not possess anything remotely resembling a firing brain cell. If I did, I would be lethal enough to wipe out entire civilisations.

Someone mentioned yesterday that even when selecting UseSR1, ITM placed the tp at R2/S2, so I had a look and found the same thing.

I settled in a couple of hours ago to find the bloop. I hunted high and low. I turned off this; I turned of that; I made ITM show the sr levels it was working with on the screen so I could check them - again.

Now, you do not need to be a coding guru to know that if this line of code is correct:
if (UseSR1) take = R1;

then to use Rs/S2, then this line is correct (for a buy)
if (UseSR2) take = R2;

You have to be as thick as me to have actually typed:
if (UseSR1) take = R2; instead. And then taken two hours to find it.

Mind, if by any remote chance you are as thick as me, then you have a major achievement under your belt and are to be congratulated. This is an achievement managed by only a tiny few since the dawn of time. There is primeval ooze with better synapses then me.

V 1e is in post 1 with the fix. Coders, go to CalculateTakeProfit and make the changes manually - they will be obvious.

Is anyone else having orders closed out, in profit or loss, as soon as the ITM is placed on a chart?

I have tried it on demo and live accounts and turned all margin overtrading etc functions off and set large TP/SL to no avail.

I am thinking it is my broker, (Cowboy Go Markets) somehow, if no one else is having dramas.

I am using Pending Order Placement Script 5 on Cowboy Go Markets demo and having invalid stops errors on lots of pairs Anyone can post version 4 so i can sort out if it's the new ver :

I meant to add that I have not properly tested the updated script, so there may be some bloops. Kevin's may be one of them.

Try the script on demo and see if it does what it is supposed to do.
