I use one of george's indicators to show what is moving now and has been moving for a while. Biggest movers are where I look first. SHF- PitbullIndicator v2.1... the neat drag and drop positioning got me hooked

Lots of ways to know where the action is. But it is certainly critical to know.

I'll start.

10.4 is truncating the Stochastic Oscillator.

Go to the indy's properties. Uncheck Fixed Minimum and Fixed Maximum. You can also change the values to 0, 100 as well.

Don't forget to re-save your template.

Having said that, Bob probably wanted the settings to be at 20, 80, since that is what flattens out the peaks - at least visually.

I have noticed that my Sto Osc is different than the study guide. I have a few more peaks and valleys. I compared my settings with the template, and they seem to be the same. Can't figure out why, unless Bob changed something.

I had the same issue when i was using the 10.4 V 1.02 template but when i use the 10.4 V 1.01 template this issue is solved.

Thx for this post. me & many others in the forum also have been trying to find why did the " NT TMA True SlopeHisto MTF - v.1.0.0 - USDCHF - Windows 1 00.1487 => RSI(2) 0.0141 AO 0.052 " is not appearing in our terminal while BOB is displaying so many snapsots with that in botoom WIndow.

Thx. No more wasting my time searching for " what we already have - in the Post 1 Packs of BOB ".

Is anyone using the 10.4 individual trade manager? It seems to be a great EA but for some reason evertime I load it onto a chart that has any open trades it closes out the trade.

As soon as a pending order is hit, the order will close in about 1 minute.

I have switched every possible option (jelko/kiwi/240, etc) or filter off but it makes no difference.

It doesn't make a difference if price is in profit or loss, or if I put in manual SL/TP.

I can use other EA's with no issues...and even on a new install of Empty4...not sure what is happening here.

Any thoughts ?

Hi Aus67. Did you check 'ShirtProtectionEnabled' and 'DollarProfit' (options to close your orders at certain loss/profit level)?

I had a look through the options, I think those options you mentioined are for the multi-trade manager from earlier 10. systems.
It looks like the issue is with the 'PipsHiddenFromCriminal' option...when I leave it a 0 (turned off) the open trade stays there...If I put any value in there, and apply the ITM to the chart it immediately closes out any open trades...

No one else seems to have raised the issue, so I guess maybe its my broker who doesn't like 'stealth modes'!

Ronald, it expects you to be well in profit when you open the second trade. It isn't checking to see if your average cost will stop out your trade. A few have noticed this in Steve's Tools thread. It is the current design.

If it is something else, not sure. This is a pretty new script, and will mature quickly. But as an early adopter be careful. I'm old school, and just take the two seconds to enter the order by hand. Gives me something to do. On demo... knock yourself out.

Hi:

I was looking at a chart on the main 10.4 forum belonging to CMEADE2 (SEE BELOW) and comparing to my chart (MRELECTRON) for the same pair, same timeframe.

I would have expected my chart to be a duplicate of the CMEADE chart. But there are many differences (SEE YELLOW ARROWS). I use GlobalPrime which is set to GMT (if that is relevant).

I dont' understand why they are different, can anybody explain.

He is gmt+2 I believe. So 4hr candles have a 2hr offset. With these huge moves it skews things a little. Don't know what is up with your info box. refresh or reapply the template.

Mine looks like yours charting with Cowboy IBFX for this system.

Got a strange charting issue. Maybe you guys can help.

I have about 18 charts loaded. I had set up all the charts like you see in the bottom screen.

Recently, I added GBPCAD & GBPAUD. For some reason, I can't get them to open full size (top screen). I have tried a fresh Load History (takes about 45 minutes on my clunky DSL line), scrolling the screen back and forth, re-booted the computer, and switched time frames from H4 to MN and back to H4. No joy. These two particular charts refuse to fill.

I may have to perform another chicken sacrifice.
