10.4 Advanced and Counter

These were the 10.4 trades I took this week. It is a good framework, that has integrated well with me. Everyone needs to find their personal style, imho. I'm not fully there on just setting pendings and "believing". I'm learning though as it would suit my schedule better.

The AUDNZD loss was just a punchout to be flat. I don't trade when too hyped up. I liken it to TILT in poker. USDCHF loss was a missclick. Rare and fun week.

There was more to be had London Friday... I didn't participate.

Wow man! Really nice. You should consider being the first trader for the SHF signal service that has been discussed! I know i'd subscribe. My sleeping hours are during London>US so 10.4 is more difficult than it would be otherwise.

Heh. I've traded other people's money, it is a different game. Way way more stressful. The signal idea is less bothersome, but I'm not sure it wouldn't haunt me to some extent. I'll let the celebrities do that. I just like good discussion. I'd rather share for free if it helps someone, cool.

Hopefully we'll get a few more charts and trades up here that are just a little outside the box, but following the framework. There's lots of clever folks around.

Close, it would be the "rail road tracks" that tend to form at the tops and bottoms and it's a reversal candle pattern. It's not what Bob teaches with his system, but it might be something to explore in the Advanced 10.4 thread.

If anybody has a clue what these railroad tracks (mentioned by 'Captain Jack' in main 10.4 thread) are about, I would be interested to hear.

Railroad tracks are Bains version of "tweezers", J16 calls them something else. If you jump to a higher timeframe they become pinbars. When placed correctly, a very very nice pattern. Looking for them in confluence with Bob's system is a great idea. i.e is there a candle reversal pattern while we are turning to head back into the trend. I'll be watching for sure.

Brutally slow day. Only thing moving seemed to be GBP on a bounce. So I took it counter-trend. Took half at ATR for the day. Entry was pretty much bottomed RSI starting to move up, and a breakout. Hated buying into resistance. But loved all the space available above to retest supply at the big drop. Short term PA looked way more bullish than bearish.

It's free-ridin. Best case we make TMA band around WR1. I may reverse there, or see if momentum holds a little bit. Pretty ugly but got most of the NY move.

Everything seems to be in limbo, maybe LO gets us some flow.

Reversed on GBPUSD @ our profit target to join the 10.4 Masses. Wonderful counter trend trade up.

Short was just another trade, possibly a lesson in taking profit early as I usually do. Let this one ride and got nothing. Will re-enter if it sets up nicely.
