Some time ago Taiyakixz fromff coded this. Based on a close above a channel ema hi or below the channel ema low.
It is a fairly simple strategy, but as things progressed the ea ended up getting lots of indis added (which do not really help much as far as I can see.

Most of us here are familiar with this 'enhancement' syndrome.

Only recently, spiderforex posted a simple VQ-based strategy that I coded into a bot called Spider. Then we added this filter. Then we added that filter. Then we added another filter. To no additional benefit.

Eventually, I removed all the extra filters and offered up Simple Spider, to the apparent relief of all.

A lot of use here have come to respect your expertise jiva, so how about posting your original strategy in post 1, letting us know that you have done so and seeing if one of the coders here can turn it into the EA you originally intended?

Hell, I can probably knock it up in 10 minutes. Just post the strategy, ok?

I haven't looked at the code. Is all I have to do to replicate the original EA is set all the possible inputs to false, then remove them when doing so causes no trouble?

Run the bot i have uploaded OOTB, just change the lot size and run it on 15M.

Also check the current spread, my broker is currently 2 pips but I have seen it as wide as 30 over the weekend, this will skew the result when backtesting over the weekend.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. To be honest with you I have only recently started to show a profit consistently. I know I am on the right track since my psychology has had a major shift and I no longer trade on adrenalin.....

But it is we who are enlivened by your efforts. Your forum has taken off and looks like it is going viral... good one!!!
