Listen to what you said ... SL is not never 1-2 pips. Is just calculated dynamically depending on the condition of the market. Using a timeframe of less than H1, volatility is so small that errors may occur. In general, the EA uses the SL only in extreme cases ... but you do not even know which, because you do not even read the topic and have no idea how the EA works.

This back and forth has been great for my debating skills but I am certainly happy you decided to address my question. Took some time but thanks....

btw, Ihave followed the beast since 2010 in it's iterations as the old beast. I am not a coder and not really good at it or will ever be.. That's the reason why there are those of us who ask questions..

NOT to be told that we are doing wrong, but an honest assessment and reason behind the issues we ask we may relevant to the discussion.

1hr is the standard and I have known this but I try to play outside the box....not all of us are fall in line followers who tow the party line......

i have now opened these trades: white box GBPCAD BUY with 0.01, set recovery to 1,2,6 to true but recovery trades are opened now with 0.01,0.02 and 0.04 lot. so i have 4 BUY trades opened 0.01,0.01,0.02,0.04 - is there a problem or not?

I am actually still having problems on the buy trades using this bot.

Sell position open, make additional trades, and close as expected.....but buy side trades on 2 different brokers live accounts will only open 1 trade and whenever it tries to open more than one trade or close the first in profit I just keep getting the error "order modify failed with error (130) invalid stops".

Anyone else experiencing this?

I think whichever recovery you use or would like to use should be a user input irrespective of whether it's a box or CT trade. Still some problems picking up trades in the GV's, often ticket numbers missing, or I'm missing something !!!

I think this bot has a good future with a bit more work on it. I trade Steves Beast live but this could be a rival to be reckoned with.

Since I posted, I have noticed that based on my settings I will either have the "buy order" problem or not.

My live FXOpen Illuminati micro account and Trading Point Mobster micro account both experience this problem, but......

On my FXOpen ECN demo (5 digit) criminal account I have no problems.....on the second demo ecn I do...the only thing is the settings are different

Ribelo, g'day! Thanks for all the work you put into creating 'The New Beast'. Everything on this forum is a brand new world to me! In many ways I'm like a kid let loose in a lolly shop - I want to try everything but where do I start first??? After reading through all the posts in this thread I downloaded the mq4 file to check it out.

Having only just learned that, rather than load an indicator/ea into an Empty4 platform by closing and reopening the platform, I could also do the same by compiling it with the editor... I did just that - to see for myself how that worked.

I have just now downloaded the file - and compiled it into my AXIS Empty4 platform 2x (also did it by closing and opening - same result). What I got (see attached) surprised and scared me because I haven't got the first clue what they mean. All I know is that the icon in the Expert Advisors section of my AXIS Empty4 platform is grey - and the programme will not load.

Sorry to be a bother! Hope you can help!

You have to allow dll's in the expert properties.
I think the EA turns grey if it was not successfully compiled. When you compile it are there any errors on the bottom of the editor screen?
