Useful 10.x thingies by Steve and Others

Latest version of Andy's Potential_10.4 dashboard EA is in post 1.

This is basically for those of us whose display showed meaningless 'O' and 'P' in some of the columns- we have a font set missing so Andy has reverted to one that we all do have.

Andy also mentions an extra notifications thingy, but I have no idea what he means there.

My Iphone got flooded with constant alerts just for USDJPY potnetial Long trade this morning. I have to remove the dashboard to stop it. Any idea?

ITM V 1h is in post 1.

It took me a cou0ple of hours to track down the cause of the instant closure thingy - turned out to be a fault in one of the bits of logic.

It appears to be working fine now - it is on my live trading account so it bloody-well better.

Yet another dashboard...

Hi,
I started to play around with Andy's dashboard (Thanks for that!) and have added a few features. Maybe it is of some value.

Add-ons:

• - Support for RSI(2) on top of NT TMATrue SlopeHisto MTF.ex4 added
  - AO shows direction and </> 0
  - Dashboard UI almost completely changed
  - more stuff I forgot already

Dashboard meanings:

• - Trend BUY/SELL: Above/below MA240
  - AO: Above/below 0 line, colors as in the indicator
  - Stoch5: last 5 candles, if flat on top (T) or flat on bottom(B).
  - RSI2TMA: same logic as for Stoch5
  - Potential: SELL/BUY based on Stoch (-S), RSI (-R) or both (SR)

Levels for Stoch/RSI = flat can be adjusted in thew settings
Default Stoch: >80, <20
Default RSI: >98, <2

Performance: my 4y-old dual core somthing has <10% CPU load with dashboard and 12 open charts, all with TMA indi. I cannot confirm that the RSI/TMA combi has a problem.

Notes:
- you need the NT TMATrue SlopeHisto MTF.ex4 from Bobs default package.
- and you need the attached RSI2TMA indi, that is basically putting RSI on TMA into one indi. You can also drop it directly on your chart.
- dashboard goes to experts folder, the RSI/TMA to the indi folder
- you may also need the Awesome indi attached, although it should be there in most Empty4 installations
- limited testing done. Feedback and bug reports are welcome.

Performance: my 4y-old dual core somthing has <10% CPU load with dashboard and 12 open charts, all with TMA indi. I cannot confirm that the RSI/TMA combi has a problem.

Apropos of this, I usually have to restart my platform 4 or 4 times a day. I wondered at first if it was a problem with ITM. Truth to tell, I have not coded ITM in the most efficient way. However, it makes no difference whether ITM is running or not. Something in Bob's template slows my platform to a craws quite a lot. Given that we only have the .ex4 file for the RSI/TMA combi, I suspect the fault lies there but have no way of investigating.

Even if I did understand indi's, which I don't.

ITM has not closed out my live UCad sell yet, and it has been running for several hours.

Looks like AO closure is not working instead. On my chart, AO shift 2 was red, whilst shift 1 is green, so shift 0 should have closed the trade.

Hey ho. Looks like we are back to the good-ole-days of fixing something here creates a new problem there. I might try doing the Primeval Scream thingy to see if that works. LUC is polishing up those invites.

Anybody got Whip's phone number, so we can ritually sacrifice a few chickens to see if that helps.

I forced a fill of a GU sell position as a test with the latest ITM and i'm getting recurring alerts of a failure to be able to set the TP. Attached is the setfile in case you need to refer to how i'm running it. This is on Cowboy IBFX with Std account with no other pending or filled positions open whatsoever.

I just wanted to report in case there is a problem for others too.
