phil,
when does this take profit/exit trades other than stoploss? is there a specific target in mind, or a point where a trailing stop gets enabled?
I haven't seen a trade close with profit yet, however I have quite a few that are sitting very profitable.

There is no TP target. All my simulations give better result if you hold all your positions. And not a little bit ! the difference is very big.

You will see some waves with retracement and new set of trade. SL is moved with these new trades when stochastic reach OBOS zone or when Fractal appear. Sometime, retracement touch your SL, but as we trade a set of 3 trades, the first one give 0 and the others returns profits. And sometime, you will have bad trade and loss. It's a statistical way of trading : some little loss and much big win.

This EA is waiting for trend, catch it and let it go to the end.

I haven't seen a trade close with profit yet There was also a bug in version previous 0.32.

The only way trade close in profit without a hard SL touch, is a macd reverse if
-closemacdreverse is set to true
- using 0.32 (bugged before)

thanks for the answers guys. of course I spoke too soon, as I just had 6 trades close with profit, all at 21:00 today. Gained me about 20% profit on my account, and I am still left with a few trades in profit still open

There is a "UseCloseFriday" option on by default but, i don't actually see a "CloseMacdReverse" at all using v.32. Am i blind?

thanks for the answers guys. of course I spoke too soon, as I just had 6 trades close with profit, all at 21:00 today. Gained me about 20% profit on my account, and I am still left with a few trades in profit still open

There is a "UseCloseFriday" option on by default but, i don't actually see a "CloseMacdReverse" at all using v.32. Am i blind?

You should use this option only on non trendy pair like AUDJPY as I see in my FT backtest.

Is it possible to add day and time input, as my demo has just opened up trades just before the market close tonight.

I also had good trades on audjpy, eurjpy & chfjpy

Same here, i had close friday set to true and the ea closed all trades @ 21h GMT ( broker is also GMT), but then opened some trades again around 21:30h GMT ?

I have test with FT this feature : result are worse. This trade was a buy AUDUSD (the third one for me) cause MACD and Stoch are aligned.
If you trade with a good ratio lot/balance, you don't have to scare about WE gaps, and statically, you will have gap as much with you as against you.

anyway, it's your MQL version, so if Niepce agree to add this...let's go
