Multi 10:4 Trader EA

Post by MrLong »

  • SERIOUS WARNING
  • Most Forex traders lose all their money.
  • Using the robot posted here in trading Forex does not guarantee success.
  • Trading this robot could lead to serious financial loss.
  • Trading this robot without understanding its underlying trading strategies guarantees traders will lose their money.
  • This is not a set-and-forget ea; there is no such thing and anyone who tries to claim there is, is either stupid or lying. This ea requires frequent manual intervention.
  • At best, a trading robot is only 90% as good as the manual strategy it trades. At best. At worst, it can be much less effective. If the strategy is rubbish, so is the robot.
  • To trade this robot, you have to understand:
    • How to use EA's. Remember to set CriminalIsECN to 'true' if your crim insists on two-stage order sending.
Version 1.31

A few bug fixes

DO NOT TRADE THIS EA ON A LIVE ACCOUNT.

NEW VERSION ON PAGE 1.

Version 2.01a:

Fixed, quite a few bugs.
Added: flicker less buttons, although there is a bug in the dll, Refresh button disappears and returns when using a M30 chart.
Added: Specific symbol trailing %, when the dash % turns blue, you are trailing.
Added: Keep ya shirt, haha
Added: The ability to add symbols or auto symbols.
Added: The ability to decide if to trade specific pairs long or short.
Added: The ability to close specific trades with one button, enabled only if we have an open trade.

Special thanks to Jurgan(Simplex) for re-coding the dash, for used friendly CPU.

When you load the EA, drop it on a M30 chart, give it time to stat to load, then press the refresh button, if it's not there change time frames and try again.

I coded the EA using Alpari(UK), the EA works flawlessly for me with that crim, so if you are having problems. try that crim.

Everything I know about loading the EA is here.

DLL:
Step-by-Step Installation instructions:

Download mt4gui.dll file
Download mt4gui.mqh file
Put mt4gui.dll file into your Metatrader4 root-folder\experts\libraries folder
Put mt4gui.mqh file into your Metatrader4 root-folder\experts\include folder
Put Multi 10:4 Trader EA into your Metatrader4 root-folder\experts folder

You need to downlod the dll, from here: http://www.mt4gui.com/download/

Version 2.02:

Fixed a few bugs.
Added: closeWinTrades = false;, Close win trades at set times, can turn on or off, times in the EA are GMT and time on your PC, so you will need to convert them.
Added: notAddToLosing = true;, Don't add to losing trades.
Added: useMovingAverage = false;, If false and SL = 0, stoploss will be placed at the next pivot + buff pips.
Added: extern int pipView = PERIOD_W1;, gives the weekly pip count on the dash, can change to Daily or Monthly, if you prefer.

Check all your settings before running the EA, I might have changed a few things while testing.

Version 2.02a:

Added slipshods, changes on page 62, where you have the option to use AO or not.

Version 2.04:

Added The CSS entry method.

THE INDI CSS_MrLong, IS ONLY FOR THE EA, YOU SHOULD USE, 10.5 CurrencySlopeStrength1.0.7d FOR YOUR CHARTS.

You will need the : CSS_MrLong indi, just drop it in your experts/indicators folder,
the EA reads this modified indi and does not error.

Colors on the CSS column, represent the color of the CSS indi, the CSS reading should be below 2.50 for the entry signal, I haven't tested it because we have had no signals but it seems ok.

ONLY 2.04 WILL WORK WITH THIS CSS_MrLong indi.

Version 2.04a

Only highlights out the function that deletes pending orders if we have a Color Change.

Version: Multi_10_4_EAv_Final

The use of the DLL is now optional, I've left the columns if you choose to use it.
The latest Dll version, is not even usable so wait until FX1.net sort it out.

The use of CSS is the last CSS-1 must be below 2.50 and current to show us the way above 3.00, into our direction above or below 240, RSI above 98 or below 2.

Added: Bail when the strengths change, this could save us the draw down we have experienced.

Unzip the file, and run the setup exe, that will load all the files into the correct folders,
you need to download the dll, from here: http://www.mt4gui.com/download/

All the best with your trading.

Version: Multi_10_4_EAv_Final_V1.10

Bug Fix

Version: Multi_10_4_EAv_Final_V1.20

Bug Fixes.

Check the settings before running the EA.

Added H1 CSS closure when price turns round.

For tighter stops, you can select, extern bool useMovingAverage = false, stop will be behind the previous pivot.

This is now a finished project for me, I can't see anything else that needs adding.

I've set the CSS closure to H4, that way if you are using CSS then the cross back would be valid.

Version: Multi_10_4_EAv_Final_V1.30

Bug fix: Zero Divide Error.

Also added: extern bool useForDashOnly, so it can be used for just a dashboard.

Attached also it the mq4 file for those who just need the EA.

Version: Multi_10_4_EAv_Final_V1.31

Bug fix: Minor ones

Also added: extern bool useForDashOnly, so it can be used for just a dashboard.

Attached also it the mq4 file for those who just need the EA.

Version: Multi_10_4_EAv_Final_V1.32

Added Ma Stacking, if the 21 and 55 are not stacked correct and moving away from one another, no orders will be placed.

Andy

Thanks for coding this...I think you're the Dashboard King!!

Is it possible to also add the option of using this as a manual Dashboard?

Thanks, JP

Andy, you are! Great work!
I love this forum and all the creative people here.

Andy,
would you add some words to the trade logic, i.e. which of the potential entry signals you use, exit signals, time lag, how you tread signals if PA is around MA240 etc.

Thanks

Hi,

To just use as a dash, change to false, bool canTrade = true; <==

For manual trading the correlated pairs will help whether or not to enter, they are correlated 80% or above the pair on D1 timeframe, so if you are looking at going long and they are red, and a few of them, not a good idea.

I use these to confirm my trades on other strategies, the number in front is the number that agrees or disagrees, and listed max 6-7, that's all the label holds unless another member knows different.

Best Regards
Andy
