10.4 A Complete System

those last 10.4 trades nailed me for almost 180 pips..everything i made on monday.. can someone check these and see what i did wrong ? maybe it was the news releases that came out


except for the eur/jpy trades.. don't pay attention to those.. i was messin with something lol

Why are you out of the usdchf and the nzdusd? I just made money on the nzdusd. I have been sitting on them all week, but they did not pass the 240 and within the past hour or two the have gone positive. What was the reason for closing them negative?

you might have.. i've been sitting on it for 2 days and was down like 30 pips and never recovered.

Wow calm down, what was the reason for closing those trades out? The point of this system is to trade light and have a large SL. Was your stop loss set on your 240 line? Cause if it was your moving average may not of been set up correctly and we need to fix it. If you closed out before then, then you were not following the system.

I can't define "overtrading" but I think you might be doing it. I'm up almost 13.5% since feb 25th. I do NOT spend a lot of time looking at the charts. I do NOT take all of the setups. I do read all of the posts in here and every once in a while I get clued into to a possibility that I did not really look into when I saw it on one of the dashboards. If it looks ok, I'll set some pendings but mostly I set pendings based on one of the dashboards and my view of the chart in question. I think I may have take only ONE market order and everything else is pending at (or just above/below) one of the pivots. Almost ALL of the trades I've had have been 1 level to TP. I've set multi-levels and a few have gone to 2 but mostly not.

By not looking at the chart, I do not worry about DD. Yes the Info page shows what I could have had (high water mark) especially on that nzdusd trade but I ignore it for the most part. I think I've only closed out a couple of trades against me.

I DO NOT get up for the London and really only have much time for the charts during the Asian.
All of my trades have been at the number of lots that indi in the upper right corner gives for the 1%.

Sometimes, I do the .5% and rarely the 2%. The further price is from the 240, the more likely I am to choose .5%

EDIT: I'm demo not real but trading it like it's real, nothing flashy!

I see some frustrated traders posting on the thread. NB 10.4 makes a lot of sense to me and it is working for me on a $5000+ live account. The system is designed to work on H4 charts with a long SL and small lot sizes to "keep you trading". It requires patience and following the trading rules. If you have been scalping on M15 charts this will take some getting used to. Run it on a demo account, follow the trading rules using good MM and I believe you will be happy with the results. NB 10.4 is not designed to hit a "home run" trade right out of the box. I believe your accounts can be built nicely by making many low risk winners over time.......

My Experts tab is filling up with LOTs of errors. Any body else getting this?

Always search the thread for keywords in error messages and many times you'll find the answer. I believe setting "ShowInfo" to false makes it go away. That is what i did i think to fix it.

getting same errors and bogging down my Empty4. Where is this "ShowInfo" you mention, don't see it in the indicator properties dialogue box/tabs.

It's there. I found it. Thing is I've been using only the stoch template until last night or this morning when I opened up a couple with the RSI template. It's only there that the error pops up.

2 trades so far this week for me - AUDCAD on monday which saw nice profit. Also been in NZDUSD since Monday and tonight its finally paid off. Was tempted to put EURUSD on the book yesterday too but didnt like the BRN 1.30 so gave it a miss. That also would have paid off. Still time this week for more %.

Great system Bob. For me chart watching on 5/15m TF for a few hours is far too boring. This 4HR 'set and sort of forget' system is without doubt the way forward and lets you get on with living your life away from the charts.

it is 12 Steps down in the options of "NT TMATrue SlopeHisto MTF" indicator. what i have to do is restart Empty4 every 6-8 hours. that seems to make the cpu usage better. makes me wonder if lots of charts and indicators build up some request queuing internally that eats more and more cpu.

yeah , huge SL, for small accounts doesn't work out very well.. this system is designed for $+thousand traders.. lol

but i don't care, i'm still moving on .. trading until i have nothing left to trade

Hey allison, my demo account with Cowboy IBFX is a $500 account because when I'm satisfied with the system, that is what I will be opening. I'm up to $565 since Feb 25.

Wrr... mine e/nzd great looging trade was closed at BE. If I have used Cowboy IBFX entries trade would be still alive and runing. With IcMarkets entry points were a little higher so it hit SL at BE

They got me! I was short! Didn't close my trade probably due to the increased spread on this candle.
