That sucks. It came right to your TP. Looks like you were in three levels, did you protect some profits before going all the way back to the 240?

Big News story. NZD didnt change its rates so the news buyers went bonkers. It also means fundamentally nothing changed so I set pendings back under the lines waiting for the retrace when the news buyers close out their profits. Get close to BE as you can and close out. Meanwhile NZD USD covered most of the negatives but will wait out the negatives for the retrace. Those of you in gbp/nzd and eur/nzd those two can retrace hundreds of pips in a matter of hours. I have seen them spike up and down 5-800 pips in a day so if hitting your SL is 1-2% you are not worried just part of your trading day. If you were playing bigger and looking at major losses hmmmmmmmmm. It is a bad way to learn a l esson but you will learn or quit.

AS CT would say trade off of that pin bar on the 1 hour chart on those NZD trades. TIme for school.

Dont have NZD/CAD and closed in profit my nzd/usd near S1. Even closing out losing positions with some of my profits I am up over 500 pips for the week. It is Thursday and looking for the goal of 1000 pips for the week. DD under 4% even with those spikes, since it was a non fundamental changing story things will move back to normal in a day or two. Got a shot at it.

My recovering plan was going fine. Then went to the supermarket, did some shopping, got home, gave bath to kids, prepared dinner, had family dinner (shouting here, shouting there!), game time with kids, brush teeth, bedtime story, and finally came back to the computer, about 6 hours later... to check out that my whole recovery from this week (which was not bad), was blown out by GBPNZD!

Damn it! WTF happened in New Zealand? Now I am about at the same spot as Monday, but with a bigger DD.

Hi people, is there an on-chart buy/sell indicator for 10.4?

Hey fxgeezer,
I assume you have downloaded all Bob's info on page 1 & setup your charts. There is no indicator that simply plots arrows on a chart. But you can quickly do a visual backtest to see if 10.4 is likely to work or not. You don't have to go far to find it has great potential. Also make sure you look at the examples Bob has used in his manual.

If you want to do more advanced/accurate backtest then go to the top of the page & type "backtest" into the "search this topic" box. It will bring up a post that links the LHF zip file. Good scripts to help with manual backtesting.

And, as of today, there is an EA by Andy:

They didnt change their interest rates. I remember when countries didnt change rates it was a yawner now since rates have been frozen for years news traders are trading them anyway.

Recovery trade set up. GBP/NZD 3 yellow check marks were previous profits. Pin bar per CT Foxes trade with RSI2. Set a second looking for a break in previous R area. quick close out to lessen the loss. Still total profit for the week for NZD. If it goes above 240 line I will close out for a small loss for the week on the gbpnzd. If recovery works will be up for the week on gbp/nzd.
