GBPCAD Range Trade
Noticed that Bob's GBPCAD monthly thingy EA has taken a buy trade from the bottom of the range...
Like this one too - CJs pin bars; double bottom; level of S/R; RSI
Will let it run...
Just been in the Captains thread where some people are looking for this to go short...
Will follow short term vs long term trades...

Re: 10.4 Advanced and Counter
For all you advanced CT traders... keep an eye on AUSNZD and AUSCAD.
EDIT: Both are way outside their 'comfort zones'.
I have shorts on both, as they both appeared to have topped out on 15min charts.

Exited both trades as they were only scalpers.rebyte2 wrote:For all you advanced CT traders... keep an eye on AUSNZD and AUSCAD.

Just remember not to get greedy on CT trading.
A quick 20-30 pips and run
Cheers... Roscoe

It was a 20 pip grab!!! Increased lot size due to small S/L.rebyte2 wrote:Well done...taggie11 wrote:Removed pendings on AUDNZD but made 1% on AUDCAD short -yipee!rebyte2 wrote:Exited both trades as they were only scalpers.rebyte2 wrote:For all you advanced CT traders... keep an eye on AUSNZD and AUSCAD.

Re: buy [sell] and hold?
GertjeGertje wrote:I was thinking when eyeballing some charts from last year, what if we;
- open trades at every [mid]pivot level in line with 10.4
- do this every week
- make the former week's WP the SL level [or the 240ma]
After 2-3 weeks, the first weeks trades are free, etc.
You end up with a bunch of open orders that MIGHT stay open for the better part of a year and add up quite a bit in the end. Open margin is covered by the floating profit, swap could be a party-pooper.
One could also open seperate trades at every level, 1 [small] trade to hold and the 2nd to play the 10.4 game with TP's and re-openings.
Any pro/ cons?
What about Steve's Caterpillar function ? Could be adapted for this.
