Good day all, a couple of questions on the MPTM;
I am working with NBob's 10.4.1.1 with info page and attempting to use the MPTM offered on page 3 of that forum indicated as "10.4 mptm SL only". Is this the correct and most current MPTM to use with the 10.4 sys and info page? I understand from the that the trade is entered manually then the MPTM kicks in. The SL should be set to the 204ma by the MPTM. I also understand from reading through the code that on enter of the second position the SL should move to BE if and when the EA is fully operational. I don't see that this or any of the other functionality is disabled?
I assume the manual position may be entered by any method or must it be a specific script or method?
I have the MPTM running on a demo, have opened 2 trades. I have “ManageAllTrades” and ManagingNanningbobTrades both set to True. EA appears active as it says "managing 2 trades" or something like that and other screen messages but I see no indication of SL at 240MA is this normal?

Later I found out that it opens everything normally on the weekend when the market is closed.

Is it a special feature related to a hidden SL or just something ordinary? I've never seen this before..

Hi Daz ,

Since you are using candlestick trail timeframe as 1,
It may be very close to set a sl from the current price .
So try may be 15 or 60 , It will work.

Thanks Arun I will try it. I am trying to get the jumping stop to work now, not having much luck with any of the settings to be honest. The stops do not seem to activate.

Is it possible to add an optional feature to set TP/SL an x number of pips away from the current price (only for trades with no TP/SL)? TP/SL to be adjusted every y minutes (where x and y are both parameters). The purpose of this is to provide emergency 'stop' in case of a VPS crash or emergency situation. It would be good if we can enable this option for selected trades only (via MPTM's filters), or for all trades.

I like using MPTM and with this feature included, it would really become an all-in-one trade manager.

I'm using the "Add a Missing Stop Loss" functionality of MTPM as follows:

I've noticed though, in the last couple of weeks, the following error once or twice every week:

On further checking, I realised that (if I'm not wrong), sometimes price goes in the opposite direction so fast after order opening, that by the time MPTM is trying to set the SL, the number of SL pips has already been exceeded (30pips in my case) [ sounds crazy but can't find any other reason for this, as MPTM works great all other times ]

I'm also using the Hedge functionality of MPTM (HedgeAtLossPips=25), and I noticed when SL insertion fails, the hedge trade is NOT opened. This means that the trade is left free-wheeling in the wrong direction, with nothing to counter-it :/

Suggestion: can the code be modified to CLOSE an order when SL insertion fails?
( since, if my reasoning is right, the trade should already be closed anyways, & there's no hedge to counter our loss )
