Well... the waiting is an old habit from using lower timeframe trading, I guess...nanningbob wrote:Why wait for a bar to close, jump on in the water if fine. I am up 3% already today and still have 15+ live trades going. I have never understood the wait until the bar is closed idea. You think price is sitting there going. Wait a minute guys, we cant go down until the top of the hour so lets wait here until then. Price has been moving all afternoon and your waiting for a 4H bar to close????
I just realized that the waiting cost me a single area between support area from pivot lines, that's why I asked you above question. OK then, noted for the next setup times.
Just to be clear, on the pic I attached, do you mean that sometimes we don't need to place a pending order? Because on point A there is no opportunity to place a pending order from higher pivot lines, that's why I have my pending on point B. In case like this, is it okay to place on order directly on point A?
sorry to ask a lot of questions today... i really want to learn so much...
thank you,

Nothing like going to bed and waking up to 180 pip positive and 1.24% increase.
I like it!

Bob, countinuing on the Q related to ethe, I decide to take pends as soon as my MA and RSI sync in real time and send pends at the next Pivot, mid or SR lvl? Thanks,

Lots of things lining up correctly.
Again, we are at a strong S/R line with the 240 line arching nicely down.
It is trading in a channel (as demonstrated) but the RSI 2 suggests a continuation of the down. trend.
If the EURO gaps up on Monday, it will only be a hicup in the long term process. Besides, it will give me better entries at a higher level.
The bulls fell for the false BO and are now trapped.
Set TP just before the lower channel line.

EurCad is the big winner last night, and I only took half of what it had to offer. I was worried the weekly pivot might hold it up and I wanted be some what Conservative since it is the beginning of the week. Good day though.

You can try a sell limit, but I dont like those that much. It seems when I use those that is when price will run against me. If you are looking for an entrance then go to the 1H and use 10.5. I like the crossing of the daily pivot or a mid pivot line to get me in when I dont want to use a limit order. A little more risk but worth it.etheldreda wrote:Well... the waiting is an old habit from using lower timeframe trading, I guess...nanningbob wrote:Why wait for a bar to close, jump on in the water if fine. So far today the eur/cad has moved down 120+ pips but I have already pocketed 172 pips on multiple trades using 10.5 levels with 10.4 levels. I still have two open so moving right along here. Love this stuff.
