I think most people trading the last 2-3 years the beast or one of the numerous ver. are running now better bots developed here in SH's forum - the time is over for the beast ... it was a good time ... but its over now ... just my 2 cents ...

Hi ALex,
i have also tried Beast in all its forms, had good results with some and sometimes for long periods like a few months. Eventually, as GaryFritz has always pointed out, there is a danger when using Mart style or grid style EA's. It became obvious when running Beast for extended periods like over a year or so.

Beast with a slope was supposed to reduce the risk by not getting us in bad positions, and sort of double-check the positions Beast would take.

None worked and i also tried getting MPTM in the picture too, but never successfully ended a demo.

The only one i'm still testing is a revised Beast by Ribelo here, but not the EA posted in post1 .http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... p?f=5&t=63

Pippo is also looking at it and running long term tests. Ribelo seems to have left the EA, but Pippo and myself are still testing a mod introduced by snoopier and coded by JL. If you read through the posts, you'll see towards the end the modded version by JLGarcia (Page 19). Still going safely and in my demo list you can find by clicking on the link in my signature. Id put a link for you, but it seems fxbook is down this morning and i cant generate the link for you.
