On that particular hunt, you could give it it's own classification, if it makes it any easier. Some people call it an extended stop hunt and it's also likely to happen around session starts, session end or news release

Thanks for the chart and explanation Durante. It gives it added definition to the move as well as showing that the stop hunt should not be counted as a level. A level usually entails price rising or falling to a point, then pulling back into a consolidation period before the next level begins. A stop hunt is hitting the stops high and low and running price...

This is really important stuff to learn...
Sadly I can't show my GU Chart.
I was already long on this (1h TF )and than the falldown happend but I took another Long Position on the lower level as I expected this would be only a dip.
Wee will see next week how my charts lokks like.

Incredible... I had such Charts in the past and thought that this was the right way to trade.
The problem was, that I couldn't see where price was and price was heading for...
A naked Chart with some Foxology and your on the pippin way.

I also have a long bias for this pair. It seems counter intuitive that the EUR would be ready to go up with all of the recent troubles which is why it probably will go up. I am waiting to see if we get one more drop to shake out weak longs. Feedback is welcome as I am new to FX trading.

I may not be a master hunter but when I look at charts like this the EJ from last week I now see so many opportunities, just have to make those trades when live

The PDF summery of the thread will be updated regularly 2 / 3 times a week the link on pg1 stays the same.

The need to keep 'hard' stops from our market makers and the fact that there might be multiple trades open has encouraged me to update my Click-and-drag take profit and stop loss EA. I have been meaning to do this for a while; this thread has kicked my arse into gear.

CJ, I know you do not use ea's but this one is different. It allows you to set stops that your crim cannot see, so at least give it a look. It allows you to make a cup of coffee without wondering if you should be paying more attention to that trade.
