Yes there was a BOJ meeting discussing policy with new President. I really had no idea what to expect, EXCEPT that the captain has told us the fox likes to use "news" to reverse directions. Yen pairs were all at the end of a 3 level drop, had 4H RRT's and formed W's at 15M. Per Captain's wonderful teaching this indicated that the Yen pairs would all pop up.

And man did they!

what a great feeling being on the right side of a big "news" event, and being able to chose the side based solely on a naked chart.

Absolutely Amazing! I'm still learning, but what a great example of what Captain Jack has been saying for 190 pages.

Following CJ method of trading + risk calculation, along with my knowledge of JPY, managed to grow my account by 25%

I happen to have some bad trades done before and have been holding it ever since, finally got them changed from red to black. I would expect another 2 more pushes later on in the day once the rest of the world wakes up to this.

As for why TP at 96, it was the start of the major W that I planted myself in, last known peak (although I would expect it to shoot to 98 over the next few days), as well as the original location of the 3 drops

Either way i'm happy with my lot

Good job. About YEN pairs, it was a bit luck, it could easily goes straight to the bottom ... but sometimes, we need luck !

Today was a gift horse. Careful of greed though, it might never see 96. I am waiting patiently for a M to sell.

LOL 96 just saw the light of day, dealer helped me TP before it went downhill. Now going to take a break and wait for the signal to short before taking up long positions again

Early days yet, but already, I have learned more from this thread than I have learned in 8+ years every place else. So with that, CJ, a heartfelt thanks from a former trapper! I read and re-read and re-read once again as much as I could absorb over the past week and a half or so. Then I did something dumb... I put my balls out there yesterday and took 6 trades on my live 10k account. Why? Because one of the biggest obstacles with something like this is having conviction in what you see. It is believing what your eyes are telling you. And it's the thought that, "hey, it's only money..." If you can overcome that, and if you can truly BELIEVE and APPLY what CJ has put out here (he hasn't been losing money, right?), then you can take that leap, which I did...

I woke up this morning to discover that almost 1k had been added to my account risking basically 2% per trade or thereabouts.

I can't see myself ever going back to.... well, whatever. This is for me. I'm officially a convert. And CJ, for that, a huge thanks.

One thing I will say though... In addition to the RRT, I also look for a 4H or higher PIN BAR which two of my trades were the result of. Think of a higher TF pinbar much like a RRT... basically, it's an RRT in one candle. (CJ, feel free to interject here if I'm offering false or inappropriate info re the pinbar.)
