I have added a second ea to post 1 - Rail Road Tracks 'n Pin

This is RRT with pin bar trading added - details in post 1.

I have added an input that allows the first candle in the rrt setup to have a small wick - see AllowableWick1Percent.

SaR applies to both forms of trading and are interchangeable. So, an opposite signal pinbar will close an rrt trade and vice-versa. Not sure whether this is desirable - we shall have to see.

Lost well today. Even took a few xxxjpy sells.

I will leave it on the M15 next week just to see what happens.

Live, I have been trading what I now regard as my Cowboy IBFX 'play money' account (GP is now my main account holder with the princely sum of $589 but not a macro-trader, so 0.01 lots is a tad more serious )

Going manually and trading in the same way as the bot but only on the H4 and taking far fewer trades than the bot will, I am breaking even.

Can someone go ootb on the M60 and M240 on as many charts as possible, please, and just leave the demo running without interference next week?

I do not expect the ea to be a success, but you never know. There is also the option to use Slope. I can add the option to use Bop's 240 MA if people want. Who knows, but there may be a road forward there as well.

While writing this I'm getting that uneasy feeling I'm setting myself up for a verbal broadside.

I understand from CJ's strategy that railroad tarcks and pins are reversal points. I'm using Railroad tracks and pin OTB. The problem is EA is opening continuation tardes and not reversal ones. E.g price is long-- pinbar RRT's form then there should be a reversal trade (a sell) but it seems EA is opening buys (and vice-versa). I've reread post 1 a couple of times and I spotted this "using the trade direction inputs etc Play around and see if any combination of these suits you."

What am I missing? Be gentle

i agree with what Pooler mentions.

perhaps a CCI filter will help longs<-100 shorts>100 with customisable CCI period
