So we had the stop hunt out of the asian range on euro and now a W is confirming on 15 minute. I'm going long, looking for price to clear the highs..

Hmm which eur pair you are looking at

EURUSD, EURAUD, EURJPY all look pretty quiet and i don't see any W at all

I'm not a big fan of cross pairs unless I'm interested to long eur/usd and short aud/usd for example, then I would long eur/aud. I concentrate mainly on eur/usd, aud/usd, gbp/usd, nzd/usd, usd/chf and gold..

Looking at higher TF, doesnt really give confirmation, so i won't be in this trade. Could be good for a few pips. Looking at H4, seems to be price exhaustion as well as downtrend and it does not seem to be wanting to go up

Remember that the lower tf's create the higher tf's. The fox showed his hand by doing the stophunt low out of the asian session, we've had a strong upmove previously, I think price wants to clear the top of asian consolidation before thinking about going low. Of course I might be wrong.

thats exactly what i'm referring to, i dont see any stop hunt. anyway you should be in the green with the positioning, all the best!

*Just realised that in 3M there is a Eur Zone Retail Sales news event, i guess thats when the foxes will show their move

Here you can see the Asian consolidation box, the move 20 pips below is a stophunt to trap the breakout traders.

decided to close early, looking like a M now on 15m, might still work out but I'll take the money and run this time, there's always another trade

I would assume after yesterday most pairs will accumulate all morning until the news. Either way, I will be patient till then as part of my patience learning exercise.

very successfull how you trade.
What about your exit: You entered today 5 trades EURUSD short after 6:00, the following LL around 10:00 was 1.29. Now price is 1.2943. Did you bank the EURUSD profit in the meantime or are the trades still open ? Do you bank profit as soon as a specific amount Profit is reached ?
