Ok guys, I am assuming you understand that Gday fires a trade when Stoch has gone into, then out of, ob/os. If this is news to you, then do not use it.

Attached is a version set to: M60 chart: Stoch 5, 3, 3; TradeShort disabled.

Watch the UseForexKiwi inputs, which are set to allow me to trade all the JPY pairs on my underfunded and overtraded GP account.

Read the effing manual, ok?

Afterprime is the official SHF broker. Read about them at https://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=175790#p175790.

I still suffer from OCCD. Good thing, really.

Anyone here feeling generous? My paypal account is always in the market for a tiny donation. pianodoodler@hotmail.com is the account.

Steve

Can you provide a link to where this EA is initially discussed?

What do we need to watch for with the Kiwi input. I did a short backtest and it seemed to work fine with forex.com

I would think that changing the oversold inputs to 30 would make it more sensitive to catch more trades but instead it misses the initial push and then catches the retacement later
Left is a setting of 20 and right is a setting of 30, is there no way to catch both of these entries?

Hi fellow trader,

Little news about the YEN
TOKYO (Nikkei)--The Bank of Japan is expected to kick off its new monetary-easing program by buying a total of 1.2 trillion yen in Japanese government bonds with a remaining maturity of over five years early next week

Hope we will have loads of fun as on the last week with the YEN :-D

Cheers

I took this sage advice to heart. I closed a couple of losing non-yen trades I had open and focused mainly on EJ, but a few others too. I made good use of the scale-in scripts and kept buying as I rode the wave. Several times, when I couldn't stand it, I closed some of the earlier winners to lock in pips. I also increased my normal lot size. I figured since this fundamental news was such a rare occasion, I would be not crazy not to use it to my best advantage.

For the week I locked in 1,152 pips and my account increased 27%!!! Yikes!

Bob ( and Steve & CJ), thank you so much for your continued advice and inspiration.

Fantastic!

That is great to read, Sam. Well done. We go back a long way now, and it is great that you had such a magic couple of days.

:D
Thanks Steve. I'm still reeling a bit from the week.
