First off, nice work on this! I used to trade a similar EA that used these candle formations and took the trades based on proximity to a drawn trendline, so I know how powerful this sort of thing can be. I would like to make one suggestion as far as TP option... certainly, it is not critical, but just wanted to bring it to your attention... for all I know, you could code it in two seconds flat! So... if one were to choose trigger candle hi/low +Pips for the SL, would it be possible to have a TP option that says basically TP = SL x N or something to that effect? This allows for a favorable RR on every single trade potentially... Not trying to bog down development of the EA here, tis just a suggestion...

IMHO I find it best to use a trailing SL but no TP, just let the trailing SL eventually catch the price action up and close the trade but in this way you can sometimes achieve v.high returns............so I think that you don't need a fixed TP at all!

I followed all the instruction the GV and spread calculations like a good little trader

but the calculation has gone to minus (-550) ?? What did I break.....?

Same problem as Pooler, on all the charts, and 1 minor screen message, even though "IsGlobalPrime.." is set to false it shows true on the screen.

Hello Steve,

as promised the results of RRT OOTB, 29 pairs, TF 1 , in trade comments as 1, and TF 4, in tr cmts as 4.

Lotsize always fixed at 0.1 .

Open trades and closed trades since last friday eve. None personal intervention.
Cowboy IBFX-Aus, demo 1:400 on vps, uk based.

If you want to make me any changes, let me know.

My results on the M15, GP demo: 33 trades; 9 losers; +280 pips.

I have set this ea loose on my Cowboy IBFX Ausie live account, trading long on the xxxJPY pairs, minimum lot size that would need to lose about a million pips to wipe the account. Still, live is live so watch this space.

V 1h is in post 1, with Bob's 240 MA to determine the trade direction. I meant to add this earlier in the week, but forgot.

Pooler, it looks as though your probs were caused be faulty coding when RunInSpreadDetectionMode is enabled. Added code to try to deal with this.

Sundog, not a clue what caused your difficulty. The bot includes code that checks for Cowboy IBFX and GP but no more. Not that it matters; the ea will add stops when it discovers them to be missing.
