Hey guys, this JPY thing was a once a several year thing. You are not going to get this happening every week. Its back to grinding it out time until the next big news story hits. Macro-economic moves are rare so be careful with the multiple level thing. I am back to one or two levels and banking pips again. Now that indis are back in play again we can expect the JPY to retrace at some point and take a rest. I will be looking for signals in the future like today. Hope to see JPY run up but dont expect the 2-400 pip a day moves like last week. 10.5 is the best place to find lines because of the weekly being so far apart.

Bob,

Did you trade the NZDUSD this week?
It moved a lot, but never gave a signal.

I had 5 entry's from last week closing on monday, and never expected such a continuation.

I would like to hear your thoughts.

2. TAKE YOUR PROFIT
Thank you Bob for your analysis! I will keep the two rules in mind :)

As I said before I have to change my trade management. Not so "set-and-walk-away" after all. The procedure you described requires lots of attendance.

Not really, just understand how the markets generally work.

I take almost all my profits at: (you probably have heard this before)
Halfway in to the Euro session before the USA open
Halfway through the USA session around the Euro close
Between the close of the USA session and Open of JPY session
2-3 hours into the JPY session.

That is usually when a move will hit its peak. By then it has usually moved 1 or 2 lines. I TP and decide if I want to set more pendings, The only time I really do this though is before the USA open, sometimes after the Euro close, especially during a hard move. So be time conscious of these times. In USA EST that is JPY session 10-11 PM EURO 6-7 am USA 10-11 AM and before JPY opne 6-7 PM. I never miss those times. Seldom miss the close near a line.

I think the bottom blew out much faster than they wanted. Japanese dont like that big of a change. Simple now wait for the retrace and go for it again later. I closed all my remaining positions and pending trades. That was a nice run. Probably a really wicked retrace coming up at some point but that will scare people from selling JPY but will it bring buyers???

OK up 1385 pips for the week, thank you Japan, now back to normal trading until the next blowout. Euro taking people's deposits again, USD Congress and President cant agree. Stay tuned other wise grind it out taking profit from one line or two to the next.
