I find it hard to go long on the EURUSD because of the fundamentals on the currency right now. But then again stranger things have happened....:)

Bob any thoughts?

thx

The "news" is out on the pair as they released the FOMC minutes this morning. Went down a bit and found support. Looks to be coming back up now.

USDJPY second attack to 100.00 key level. If it breaches we´ll see soon 110. Great fluidity zone between.

A liitle bit of Deja Vu when the new Japan' PM promises to revive economy with aggressive monetary easing and big fiscal spending to halt deflation when he came to power. Then the BOJ's chief says he ain't doing anything to make that happen. Then the PM speaks again and the yen drop again.

The bottom line is yen is going down, if not now, it will be soon. it can tank or it can crawl, but it's going down. All the speech is probably just trying not to cause a massive drop.

Here is the 10.5 css to try. What I did is color coordinate the pairs. blues are Euro currencies, yellows are Asian currencies and reds are North American currencies. You can better see how area currencies interact with each other. Put template in template folder and 10.5 CSS in indicator folder. Restart Empty4 and have a currency pair you dont trade and put it on there. I use eur/dkk

Great idea, but it is a pity that CHF is no longer represented by chocolate brown

There is a strong correlation in terms of geography, (as neighbors taking a walk holding hands) with the exception of JPY in relation to AUD and NZD.

OK where to go look for trades today.
NZD the strongest cad, chf, gbp tight second
JPY the weakest usd distant 2nd

Despite the BOJ declared that the present move was over, the market didnt bite. The problem JPY faces now is who is going to be the first idiot to buy the thing. I certainly am not. I was almost tempted to try on eur/jpy sell but that would have been a disaster. Been nothing but exhaustion bars all week but no real movement. So I placed a buy just above the last high on the gbp/jpy for the heck of it and picked up another 85 pips. So I will play that game for a while, maybe, dang if I know. I will lower my normal lot size if I do take any more trades. I wish the dang thing would take a dip so I could have a better entrance spot.

nzd/usd how far will it go?

I remember in my CT days how this pair and aud pairs how they would run and run and run and run. Dang they just wont quit. Where is that stupid top/bottom anyway? I once tried to CT trade an AUD trade for 6 months trying to show I could do it. Gave up and two days later it dropped 200 pips. When it gets into one of these angle trends where the bars are about the same small size, like now, it can go for weeks on end and then the retrace is minimal. 200 pips so far and may go another 100 but I have no idea. So if you buy put your SL just below the trend line and keep moving it up with every candle or two. But to sell this puppy like they are at FF, you could be walking into a nightmare of going into the hole 30-60 pips a day. Drives you absolutely nuts.
