I don't understand why people want micro lots...you can run fine with 250$ on a normal account, it's all about risk management.

I can recommend LiteForex for small acounts, VantageFX or ThinkForex for larger accounts. VantageFX has the nice 100% guarantee that you NEVER get a requote. Their spreads are nice, execution speed not so great (2-3 seconds sometimes, usually 1-2). And minimum stoploss distance is 30 :\

I've personally done some statistics analysis on 6 brokers (demo), mainly about the execution time and slippage. Among them, the VantageFx has surprised me by its slippage. It is true that they have no re quote but the worst slippage may become the issue for many scalpers. I personally use ATCBrokers and Bully Pepperstone. so far so good.

I just came across this website offering rebates for most of the Australian based crims - including Cowboy IBFX.

My personal preference based on tests from my Sydney based VPS favours AxiTrader. It uses the Integral data feed, has really tight spreads (especially with the rebate), consistently around 300ms execution time, AUD based accounts, and the payment options include BPay (which is a plus when transferring large amounts within Aus).

I currently have a live account with Vantage, but their execution times are poor and erratic, and the price feed is severely filtered compared to AxiTrader. That doesn't mean much unless you're scalping, except it begs the question - why are the filtering the price feed at all?

I'll give AxiTrader a go live when the market liquidity picks up.

I have a Bully Pepperstone Razor account. The spreads are quite low and support has been good whenever I had a question. ECN commission is higher than some others out there but since spreads appear to be low it is OK.

Execution times usually fast but can open/close can take a few seconds at times. They are using the Integral liquidity.

Speaking of Bully Pepperstone, I signed up with them Friday, very professional experience so far, funded with my CC card and I am now ready to test. So far all good...

Shame they aren't taking US customers. Has anyone circumvented the CFTC by using a relatives address in another country? Is that legal? I have cousins living in Europe and Asia that I can take advantage of.

At least with Bully Pepperstone it wouldn't work - they ask for 100 points ID when signing up. Unless your rellies opened an account in their own name, but then all withdrawals and deposits would need to be via their bank account.

Anyone out there using Cowboy IBFX AU? I caught them pants down cheating on me. I just funded my dormant account with them. I previously closed this account because of their prohibiting trading during 5 minutes pass the Asean Session. Recently they said the company is under new management, and I thought it is time for me to go back trading with them. I used an indicator, actually a semi manual EA that also record a trades profit on it. I found out that there was a big descrepancy appearing in my Empty4 profit column against the profit shown in my EA - 0.01 to 0.88, lagging far behind. Of course they have a lot of alibi when I brought the matter with them. I will be moving soon to another Broker. I just wanted to let you know guys that in case you are considering Cowboy IBFX, just pause a few seconds, they are not as good as I thought.
