When i place a trade a always look to the left and see where the price last took off and aim for that level for take profit or if it goes past that level i will add on and move my lst entry to BE and follow on from there. I just do it by eye.

Mixed week for me. Foxy tripped me up a little with some of these extended runs. Hit rate was good, but a couple decent losses.

I don't trade nearly as frequently as some of you. Just load up on a couple ideas a day. Mostly with majors not odd crosses. I'm a bit of a feel player due to thousands of hours watching price build on very low timeframes, so normally stick with pairs that I know. Outside the majors I rely a lot more on Price Action and patterns.

Even baby foxes get lucky.

I'm lovin the Gold sell off. I'm not much of a fundamental guy, but always thought a small gold position (possibly some physical), might be a good hedge. Cheaper is better to me.

I changed my strategy to make safer entries. I use trend line breaks instead of just winging it on the second high/low. Its a lot less risk and as expected I'm making less overall pippage but thats alright as I'm trading more lottage per pip now. I'm on mini lots finally.

I am also learning to spot false breaks using a tick chart. Look for Ms and Ws on a tick chart when price approaches and slightly passes a trend line.

Interesting link, but my reasoning for the charts will be different from what is presented

First image: The highlighted parts is a stop hunt taking place, notice how once the SH is done, price returns to what it was before

Second image: Honestly, looks like a M15 chart of an asian session

Third Image: Accumulation, Stop Hunt, trend of the day (notice its going up before, and the fox has been putting long positions as well as short positions)

Fourth Image: This one reminds me of what the JPY pairs look like yesterday, M on the top

Fifth Image: Asian session, notice the bottom wicks, a few candles of similar wicks means its time to travel in the opposite direction

Thanks for your insights kwanann, yes the analisys there doesnt contemplate any market manipulation as Cj has tought us, I thought it would be helping to identify PA in a retrace, as I havent perfected entries yet, interesting trades of yours I will follow them too thanks for sharing

A chart maybe ? So for a M, you trigger at the break of the "kinda" neckline ?

Yes kinda the neckline. I'll post a couple in my thread tomorrow as its the way I'm starting to trade and not CJ's approved method. CJ has deeper pockets and hell of alot more experience than me so less risk is better right now.
