The closing of the week was a little disappointing. The usual routine of last minute profit taking was shiftted by the U.S. Treasury warning against the depreciation of the yen. Anyway, just words... What can they really do against the decisions of a sovereign country?

Announced changes to 10.4 are very promising. I like the simplicity, since I was not using AO any more. CSS is my all time favorite indi and i have always wanted to add it to the template for individual use in each pair (visible in Daily and higher frames). However ram usage was so high that I had to give up. I'm glad that the new version will have a light css. 240LMA RSI2, CSS and pivot points... Who needs anything more?

Now, we just need to practice... and keep track of political news that, as has been shown, are the ones with the impact to cause lasting trends over time.

I had a dream last night on setting up the lower RAM use CSS with RSI 2. CMeade had an idea but its RAM usage was too high. I have an old slow computer at school and a high powered one at home. This way I make sure my ideas can be run by most other people. Anyway I will be trying to adopt his idea with one of my own and if it works as I think it might make entrances (setting of pending orders) very clear and getting out very clear. The move will make it clear when to get in and very clear when to get out. I think the idea will work but it is in my head now. Now I have get my my schoolwork, classwork, administrative work done and block this idea out so I can get to it tomorrow. Once I set it up I want to see it live for a couple of days to make it does what I think it will do and that the RAM issue wont pop up. So back to work but I couldnt help but share the idea. Basically the system will be working on the 4H chart but the 15M, or 30M or the 1H chart reads will be giving the entrance and exit signals. We will see. Also for the first time I believe an EA can be written because it will take most of the disgression out of the decision making process except for when Macro fundamentals come into play, like the JPY. No EA can account for that but at other times this could really work. I think, maybe, perhaps ......................... dang if I know.

The week before Yen dropped 600pips, last week precious metals went down 600 pips. Wonder which currency is next in line, usd?

LOL if these 600pips events happens each week and we can catch them, what rich guys we would all be!

From high to low, the closing prices of the XXXJPY pairs over the final 30 hours of last week, was between 185 pips (USDJPY) and 330 pips (GBPJPY) lower.

That represents fairly substantial buying of the YEN.

Will it continue on Monday?
Has all the low hanging fruit been picked?
Will the YEN sell this week or consolidate at this level before selling off as it did last Wednesday week 4th April. Or what?

Personally I am going back to 10.4 basics and I am going to be happy to just grind out my daily bread on the millstone of 10.4 setups.

We've had a great run the past 7 trading days or so ... let's keep our heads.

The market might be selling YEN ... yes indeed it did ... but the market is also irrational, and we have yet to be able to tell it what it should be doing.

10.4 comes about the closest I have ever been to "seeing" the next move.
