I wouldn't be betting against this Shooting Star (Pin bar) on USDYEN weekly. I think the 100 level had been rejected here...

More fall expected in USDJPY when the market opens. Support at 96.75. I will be looking for buy signals from there.

This is like a chess game. In the past, when risk appetite receded after a Wall Street carnage, money run to gold as a safe haven. Today we have this crazy situation. Two days before a misterious hand hit gold and now yen is the only place to go. Congrats US Treasury. Its threats to BOJ had some second reading...

If candle sticks count for anything all of the yen pairs on the hourly are pins. I think the pairs have found their bottom. We will see in a few hours. However present movement seems to indicate weakness.

Huge 100 pip pin bars on some of these JPY pairs. Maybe it is done. What a carnage. Just to let some people know that yesterday during the Asian session I took some losses by cutting my lot sizes in half on most of my trades. I did it as a precaution because I never expected to happen what happened. It saved my account and even now I can trade again. I have enough margin to enter back into a retrace. We will see how it goes but man oh man I really got laughed at, at FF for trading small but it is days like today that I do it. I have preserved my account and I live to trade another day. Now lets see if I can get out of this mess. I was 10 wins 31 losses ( I cleared out all non jpy trades) account is down 23% means I gave back about 1/3 of my profits. Ok the carnage is over. I lived to trade another day.
