Multi 10:4 Trader EA

I am running version 2.0 on my LIVE account and it is trading like a mini ATM machines for me. ( I have to be honest, I hate the flickering chart buttons. Would be nice to have the option to turn them off. I never use them.)
I use set TP (20 - 25 pips) and no SL at all. (Set to 1000 pip) The balance and equity is growing again daily between 0.3% and 1.1%.
I had to go to this method because the occasional large losses, when the EA hit the SL before, wiped out all previous profits. Now no more worries about losers. The EA is chugging along like clockwork and DD is no larger than 2% so far.

Andy thank you for this. This baby already made me a couple of hundred dollars on my LIVE account this month. Even with very, very conservative Lot sizes.

Also Willem-Bram, I disagree that 10% per year is acceptable unless the profits were steady, consistent and with minimal DD, which so far isn't true of this EA.

I understand what you mean, but people tend to have expectations that just aren't realistic. What I mean is that most people would be happy if their equity would grow by 10% a year. I would. I'm just pointing out that to get 10% per year you only need 0.2% per month. Right now version 2.0 is going too fast in both directions, but it is still a rough diamond. The DD's aren't a big surprise to me and also it's not a problem we can't solve.

The trick will be, just as you pointed out, to provide enough breathing space in the losing area. So initial loosing trades can go in the green. I've been thinking about this and I think a have an approach that can give us a good starting point. I just need the next 2.1 version to start getting information about individual trades.

Just remember it is a manual strategy. It really is designed around a bit of common sense, not just hands off plug and play. An on/off or short/long switch per pair is really all this was missing imho.

Each time Andy adds something that gives more control it is one step closer. We can likely hack together something that will provide reasonable exits and protect profits. But it will be tough to get it to perform as well as just a little bit of intervention. Unless of course the intervention is done in error .

One thing to ask.. Would be possible to "shink" EA window a little (or make it customizable some way).

With vps I'm able to see only all pairs vetical (so I don't see bottom buttons) and only lots (so I don't see close buttons). Maybe you can add show on/off for corelated pairs (it takes a lot of window space).

Not really, too much like hard work, can't you reduce your screen resolution.
