Thanks very much for your insight , I am studying the tick chart now as I write :ugeek:
I can see the patterns over and over but do not understand the scaling changes will continue ,
Thanks again
BTW, take a few screenshots of the tick chart window and in slow times, look through the different time frames on the pair you took it from.... :ugeek:

Is there a finite number of patterns and potentially you could become familar with them all? Or is that a stretch?
They will "dirty" the basic patterns within each pair, but you won't notice it as much on the tick chart... patterns are infinite but they are recognizable with practice. It takes a long time to form a D1, W or M chart....so the patterns repeat....

I think it might make more sense that the white lines are the 4H cycle and the pink are the 1H cycle (3 days of rising price). What you reckon?

Cheers
Yes...you are getting the hang of it.... the 15M is just the larger moves broken down to be traded over a shorter period.

Since the patterns repeat, if there are 3 pushes on the 15M, then there will be 3 on the 30M, 3 on the 1H, 3 on the 4H and so on.... it can not be otherwise since it's the lower candle that form the higher candles....

CJ
So the best thing i.e. less riskiest thing is to trade in the direction of the larger cycle. So if you know a fresh 4H cycle is starting upwards, you can either try and ride the whole cycle which would include some range/retrace days or try and find the 1H cycle (usually 3 day) cycle within the whole move. Level 2 is the longest and this could be spread over 3 days.. I'm I on track or going off another tangent? lol
You should confine your trading to the same time frame or risk confusion....

The 2nd level is NOT the longest....the 2nd level is trader driven with LESS manipulation by the Fox...

The 3rd level is where you look for 3 pushes....which MAY be the longest....

Levels 1 and 3 are Fox levels......level 2 is trader driven....

This is why you want to trade from Level 1 up or down as this is where the next price move begins. Remember that the previous Level 3 always resets to Level 1 at the start of the next move.

Hi Captain Jack,

I just found this link to easily make a regular chart a offline tick chart.
For those interested the download is just below the video under the date.

Here's a link to a site that Ruffy at FXAW found when we were discussing this subject:

Load a chart and select "T" for the time frame.....

If there's anybody who thinks they are in their right mind and "believe" that FOREX is based on "free markets" and isn't a rigged game, I suggest that you read this article....we all know about LIBOR, now comes a new "speck" to keep your eyes on....

The same banks that are and have been doing this kind of shit, without anybody ever having to pay for it, are the same banks that "make" the FOREX market.... They are the market makers I refer to as the FOX!

The world banks just pass around the money in a big circle jerk.... they print it and pass it....back and forth....and use it to create debt traps into which people fall and become slaves to the dollar, yen, pound or whatever flavor is in where you live....they all should be in prison!

If you think hard assets like gold and silver are going to stave off what's coming, better think twice...if they want the price to fall, they can tank it. Metals are only worth what people will pay for it and there are moves being made in many countries to force people to "register" their metals as well as countries preventing the removal of gold from them.....

What's the answer? I don't have it....I just keep taking, just like they do, but in the end how many "worthless" dollars, yen, pounds, marks or whatever does it take to buy a loaf of bread, gallon of milk or clothes for the kids?

Governments monetizing debt is kinda like corporations selling billions of shares of stock....with every share sold, each one becomes worth less.... at some point, the company usually does a "reverse split".....so I wonder when the governments will begin their "reverse splits"?

I am lost on the levels 1 2 3. I sort of get the three pushes but are the levels different? Also it seems to me that an M could become a W if the down leg of the M turns back up and of coarse visa versa. Then it would be a 123 pattern of sorts. So how does one tell if it is true M or a head fake which will turn into a W. I hope this makes sense.

Like I said, questions are being repeated....

Levels occur over DAYS...pushes occur during the day....

Example.....price has risen for 3 days and forms a weekly peak HIGH, and forms an "M"....this is LEVEL 3 UP, which then becomes new LEVEL 1....next day comes 2 drops or pushes lower in price and a retrace, this creates LEVEL 2 down....price pushes lower, 3 more times next day, forms a "W" and the LEVEL 3 low...This is the new peak LOW and the LEVEL resets to 1....

As for the "M" and "W"'s, there are 2 you are looking for...Peak high "M" and peak low "W"....when trading this way on a 15M TF....

If you only want to look for these patterns, do it on a higher time frame....how many do you see on this video and which way are the wicks or pins pointing? What does that tell YOU to do as far as taking or not taking a trade?
