Thanks, Bob, for the great effort put into improving the system.

CSS looks great. I was using a fast macd for exits and, after a quick comparison, CSS wins in quickness and intuitive reading of situations.

So far, the biggest difficulty in 10.4 for me has been how to handle 240 WMA (bounces, crosses, pullbacks, etc) . CSS will be a great help to face the closeness of 240.

RSI2 in lower frames is something to be studied carefully.

Anyone for scalping the 15M chart. 10-20 pips. Just some totally unexplored ideas for you all.

Scalping the 15 - 60 minute time periods should be very doable when a pair is ranging. It is very nice how the indicator adjust for each time period.

Bob, I load the new update and when i change chart times from 4 hr to 1 hr it closes down Empty4. Are you or is anyone else having this problem?

23 people downloaded the update and then I changed the template and indi from a gray to goldenrod.
I also deleted a couple of posts because they were between my posts. Sorry I did that but I wanted to keep the system together with the explanations. You can repost if you wish.

This is only a partial of the system but it should greatly help your entrances. Good luck.

Sorry the numbers dont line up on the examples but they do on my chart but not the pics. Dont understand why. Must have something to do with the update that came down this weekend. Hope it doesnt screw up the indis.

I have renamed my liveupdate.exe to liveupdate.ex-
then Empty4 doens't update anymore.

The problem will be if you dont update your Empty4 it will become invalid. You can see Steve's note with his Cowboy IBFX Aussie note. Eventually the non update versions will be too old and shut off. This is not the brokers fault but are being forced by Empty4 main company. They are in a copyright issue tiff and the brokers cant win unless someone comes out with a new platform that people like. Many brokers have been adapting Empty4 to their own needs and wants and the main company is cracking down on its clients for some of the changes. An interesting fight. Meta quotes is opening up itself to new competition. If someone comes out with a comparable or better trading platform I am sure some brokers will change. Anyway will be an interesting battle in the months to come. I read one note that the main company wants brokers to change to MT5 but brokers have been reluctant to purchase it. This is forcing them to change. Will see.

No Bob, sorry, but that is letting the crims off too lightly. The crims are buying the licences. They have the power make Metaquotes do what they want. The crims are playing along because it suits them.

Going to stop now - feel myself working up into a lather.

Eventually guys, market forces will assert themselves and people will come along who are better than those cretins at metaquotes - and they will accommodate our previous Crapql4 work in a better format. We have already seen this happen in the brokerage market with GP coming along to replace the crims available to us lucky non-US citizens. It is only a matter of time. Crap will eventually implode. It just takes time for this to happen.

Empty4 brokers have to accept the changes. It is part of their contract. The individual issues with each broker maybe different and I dont know those so Cowboy IBFX AUSSIE maybe something different.

I have seen three main arguments posted on websites.

1. Meta qutotes wants brokers to purchase MT5 and make Empty4 obsolete.
2. Meta quotes wants to corner the market on indis and EAs forcing 3rd party developers out of their systems.
3. Meta quotes is trying to get the developers of bridges out. These are developers who connect Empty4 with non Empty4 brokers. You can trade Empty4 but with a different broker who uses a better platform. This especially involves big clients with big accounts.

The bottom line is someone will develop a new platform and go into competition with Meta Quotes. Arrogance of big corp. They always produce their own competition trying to dominate a market.
