a good parser for all the indies and ea with a good trading system, that is able to better handle the upcomming data traffic as the Empty4 does - which goes in the knies, if there is more traffic - would do it...
the only reason why i used Empty4, was the GUI...but what's behind it - i don't need to name it...you all know it...
metaquotes can and do disable any build as they want, but i don't have any contract with them and don't want any... they don't have the right to force me to use what they want...it's my pc and i am the only one who says what i use on it and what not!...if they don't respect this, they can shot themselves...i won't use Empty4 anymore...
they communicated the "new" automatic update, but didn't communicate, that they will disable all other (older) builds...WHY?!...they coded a new terminal.exe...what does this "new" terminal does also on my pc besides what it should?...i read anywhere, that they (metaquotes) read out the IP-adress of the user...don't know where it was...if i find it, i will post the link...
i don't trust such a firm, which codes a virtual dealer plugin to cheat the customer and the broker can steal the customers money using it... why should they need my IP-adress?...
i don't care about any one-click-trade thing...what they do with the automated update is the worst thing for me!... this is inacceptable!...
they dont' respect users of Empty4, why should anyone respect them?...

OR provide their "valued clients" not us traders, but the criminals/b-rockers who they sell the platform to, with the ability to single you out, if you're taking their money, to... disconnect you at times (they get to chose the times)... or, say... slow your data stream (man in the middle attack)... whatever they think can get away with!RJo wrote:I'm guessing that MQ logs your/my IP address so it can ban said IP if it detects a hacked terminal. Thanks for the link. I found the mention of "M4 Platform by Modulus Financial Engineering" Extremely Interesting! It's in post #33. I'm going to research this further, I may have found a new software platform to trade from. I have never heard of this company before. I have tried and used MetaStock and NinjaTrader in the past. They are decent programs but you can only use them at certain brokers which is frustrating to say the least. Their pricing structure has nothing to be desired either. Also, their customer support .... well.... uhhh... not the best and I'll just leave it at that.
I made over 100 pips today and stumbled across a link for a new platform. Not bad for a Monday!

I run an account that I funded for a much-treasured former student. Ok, I only funded it for $200, but it is now worth $300, so I have done ok.
I tried to log into the account tonight, to be met by "Old version" and no access to the account.
Ok, so I will sort this out in the morning. Ok, so I am only waiting until I can move the account over to GP and afford to fund it properly, but that is not the point.
The point is that Cowboy IBFX Aussie are trying to screw a little guy. Ok, we all know that Cowboy IBFX US have been trying to screw all their US 'valued clients' by claiming that they have to abide by Federal rules, when anybody with a firing brain cell would have been able to circumvent them had they really wanted to, but this is Cowboy IBFX Aussie trying to screw everyone else.
That is Cowboy IBFX Aussie, guys. Only a lunatic opens a live trading account with them.

"Old Version" is the "See?...We told you so" of the metaquotes "muffia". They are really saying: "you gotta play ball,...Capicche?" and it's nothing more than they twisting your arm into submission regarding the "mandatory" Empty4 platform updates... What a bunch of lowlife thieves!

The Minimum deposit for Micro account is: 100 USD; for ECN account is: 1 000 USD; for ECN Pro: 10 000 USD
Is FinFX a Market Maker? they claim not to be? "FinFX is not a Market Maker as we use STP ECN/DMA model, which gives you a direct access to display your order in the market." Yeah right maybe...
Main live trading server is located in Helsinki, Finland, with also a datacenters in the US (Las Vegas, Nevada).
The ECN Pro and Managed Account servers are located in New York right next to the LPs (liquidity providers) there.

Just wanted to let everyone know about a total CRIMINAL.
YouTradeForex. YTFX.
They have an Australian branch and I joined them before Global Prime got going.
I started trading with them in late July 2012 and was enjoying some success til early Oct 2012.
Then they decided that they did not like my trading style(I was trading the news with straddle trades placing pending orders where OCO & I maintain a tight trailing stop) and said that I was trading illegally in that I was placing Hedging trades and scalping, as my trades did not always take over 90 seconds to complete.
I discussed my trading style with their representative before I funded my account and was assured that it was perfectly OK.
These trades were placed by an EA I wrote(and posted here trying to improve it).
YTFX decided after more than 2 months to simply rewrite history by ‘closing’ all my trades so that there was no result.
These were trades that had already been closed.
So my account balance which was travelling at about +50% profit turned to my original balance, which I feel fortunate to have got back before they appropriated it as well.
Simply rewrite history in their own favour
I am deep in dispute with them with the Financial Ombudsman here in Australia, but want to warn everyone not to have anything to do with these &^%*$^%.
I am unsure what I can do if the appeal to the Financial Ombudsman is not to my satisfaction. I keep hearing that as YTFX returned my deposit, I have not really lost anything(?).
If anyone is interested, I can supply more details.
