Hi All,

My demo has started off well, in profit already.

Just wondering if this robot will close the trades automatically or should I do this manually or with a trade manager.

Trades have been open around two days, I suppose not very long for a daily trader. Should these trades be open for at least a week at a time?

Hi Jon

Marilyn closes trades on her own. Don't worry. As you can see from phil's results, trades can be open for one month or longer...

My demo was going great, after two days, 90 pounds in profit, most of it with EURUSD.

Then today its reeled back in and hit zero / break even so all the gains gone

Maybe I should have grabbed the profit while I could. The age old question!!!

no cause, if €/$ have gone up to rally its resistance at 1.3650, you will be out the trend. I know it's a little bit frustrating, but long term is better than short one. (re-read my posts about my FT test over 2009/2013)

some news :

After near 2 months of full automatic running : always around +30% (balance+running profit) with some good trends catched on AUDUSD, GOLD, €/$. Hope these trends will go far !

I had a couple of "false starts" with AUDUSD on the new demo I set up and thought I might have been unlucky with the starting date of the demo but then it took off. I actually manually closed half the positions last night as I was +40% floating with those. This is just using auto lot sizing.
