So do we set pendings above the next level on the weekly lines?
nanningbob wrote:Obviously the one with the greatest potential will be the gbp/jpy. Look for your biggest moves coming from there. usd/jpy will have big moves if it can break those big resistance areas. The others have upside but maybe limited unless they break previous highs and go to ?????????????
This morning i'm seeing the same cmeade2. however, the RSI on all are topped out on 4h and 1h. I believe GJ for example, has that support area a bit lower at the WR1 so wouldn't a slight retrace to that area seem feasible? the place pendings just above the WR1 or not?

thanks
I have buy pendings above the last high in case it spikes during the JPY session. Other wise I will wait for a dip in the UT.
Hey NB,

Are you using MPTM to manage trades while you are away? if so do you mind sharing your .set files?

nanningbob wrote:Strong Currencies for the week appear on daily CSS to be the CAD, welcome to the top two Canandians, and the Pound. Weak pairs look like the Aud and JPY. Aud may strengthen and JPY weaken. USD may rise after some good news last week.

4H CSS shows USD and CAD rising GBP holding steady.
AUD rising CHF and JPY sinking

HAVE FUN.

do our time zone's determine this ?

EDIT : nevermind.. i switched to the daily TF on Empty4.. and it looks like yours now

Based on the news that is coming and the current state of AUD, JPY and USD, chances are AUDJPY will reach back to last month probably tomorrow. USDJPY should be kissing 100 today.

Seems to tally with the daily css mentioned by Bob.

Have fun guys!

I like the new conservative approach from this filter (CSS is rock solid). Sometimes it's a little frustrating, like a stepmother who tells you what not to do.

I suspect most of us devote great attention to the slope, waiting for the moment of crossing, and this wait could cause us the very anxiety precisely CSS wanted to avoid. Slope is like a snake you don´t know the next move, and different brokers data can make us feel unsafe about an imminent crossing.

A way to do it mechanical, (semaphore style) for those who look for a quiet "get ready" signal for a CSS color change, could be using a MACD put in bars (profiting the empty background from RSI2). MACD gives reversal signals 3 or even 4 bars before than CSS (16 hours!) but it is obviously very noisy and risky. Could be used as an agressive mosquito, trying to get yout attention on a probable CSS color change. A fast MACD (8,17,9) works very well in 1h. (12,26,9 for 4h)

This is the MACD bars indi:

My chart is identical to Kwanann's. I'll wait for a bit of a retrace on the JPY pairs before setting pending buys. Looking at buys on GBP/AUD, EUR/AUD and EUR/USD tonight.

NO havent been using any EAs. All pendings I am using script. I have the scripts set at 200 SL 200 TP and after I have set those I use the change SL or TP script and readjust them to where I want. I use the 240 line or the nearest S/R line to the nearest 240 line to set my SL and then my TP are set for WR or WS. I adjust as I think necessary after that. I often use the 10.5 for my multiple entrances but still use 4H 10.4 reads to set them up.

If I see 4H lines narrowing but 1H goes gold bar I will sometimes set pendings off of those signals. I still like to jump in early. One of my bad habits adjusted. :)
