Thanks for the breakdown Gertje.
Can I ask you to elaborate re your SLs? Sounds like you aren't at the screen continually and you're running a lot of trades, either 'live' or pending. What is your approach to SLs where you have a raft of pendings such as with your JPY examples. Do you manually move up each SL when the next line triggers or are you using a trailing stop approach to ratchet up?
Thanks again

No SL at all for the JPY pairs, 240MA for the rest.

Lotsizes are small, $0.01 per pip for a $200,- account.
My account grew to $250,- and I'm still using the same lotsizes as the multitude of pips will make it increase more than enough without risking it all.

+1. Bob, I have **NEVER** traded manually. I've always built my own systems (EAs) and traded those. This system is finally getting me to try to program the computer between my ears. Thank you for that!

Lovely moves this week. My schedule is nuts and I only manage to check my charts 2-3 times a day max, and yet I've got a nice basket going:

If I can keep this up for a month or so, I might start throwing real money at it!
Awesome to see, Gary.

Bob is my swing trade hero. Completely mind-blowing to me how many trades he can place working on 4hr charts and only trading 1 direction.

This is the closest I've come to managing scheduling properly. Still not there, but I can taste it. ;) It's awesome to see people do well with this.

1. as you see in the pic below i have 10.4 v1.1 MM info and 10.4 Market info B.......they are both showing me basically same thing....distance from price to 240 line to know what size to trade but giving very different lot size values...why ?

2. The MM indicator allows me to know what size lot to trade from Current price to SL...but how do i see what trade size to place from Pending order entry to SL....which is what i need....as current price maybe 70 pips away from entry.....or do i modify it as price gets near?
I dont use that anymore. I am trading five cents for every 1000 dollars I have in the account. The purpose of that was to get people to be realistic about their lot size to account size but guys still traded big lots when they got around the 240 line wiping out their profits they had earned. So use appropriate lot size to account size or get busted.

OK this sucks. I close out the aud/cad and aud/usd trades for profit but keep the aud/nzd and aud/chf to run and guess which ones run and which ones didnt. Still made profit but it sucks.

You will find the 10.4 and 105 indis here. Sorry for the confusion but I just havent updated everything into one place like I should. Been battling a stubborn virus for 2 weeks now. Everytime I start feeling good it relapses. Hopefully I can get to it by this week and have everything down to 2 folders.

Look here

Page 374 has the latest updates indis.

Hi, Bob.

Sorry to hear that. I hope that virus goes away and you feel better soon. Waiting for the new INFO page. A good reading of that CSS 4h, daily and Globaltrendmarket will be, in my opinion, even more important that working on entries, exits, or airgbag filters.

I wrote this in Baluda´s thread some days ago and I would like to know if you think such a thing is or not possible:

"I´m finding GlobalMarketTrend very useful as a tool to choose the right timeframe for the day. When market is not trending you better go to 1h and aim for 20, 30 pips.

Something i have noticed using Mr. Long EA is that there are "good days" and "bad days" for 10.4.

Often it can happen this: you have 10 open positions and you have 10 winners or 10 losers. I know, this is a silly observation, but maybe we can conclude the existence of "retracing days" and "continuation days" not only for pairs but in a global way. Can this be added to your indi in anyway? Maybe the line of GlobalMarketTrend could be built on two colors (red and green) showing not only the strength of the market trend but also if this strength is related to continuation or retrace. Such an indi should be a great filter.

strength + continuation (green) = jump into the trade

strength + retrace (red) = stay out

weakness + continuation = go for 10.5 20 pips fish

weakness + retrace = put 10.4 pendings"

Hope you get well soon from that virus, Bob! As for 10.5, just to confirm, it still should primarily be on the H4 TF, even though 10.5 is designed for intraday trading (as I understand it)?
