Pooler, a general question, now that the strategy has changed from a tight daily open retracement are you thinking to run this ea on a small number of pairs at a higher level of risk or most pairs at a low level of risk. Reason for the question is that some pairs suit this strategy eg USDCAD while others I'm struggling to get to trade for any period of time? I suspect it will depend on how the MS part of the strategy works?

I put 6c2 on USDJPY (also on GBPJPY, USDCHF, EURGBP & XAUUSD - no orders on these)
On USDJPY
It opened a sell 1.00 lots @ 16:53
Then at 16:54 it opened 10 more orders sell 0.05

Is this correct?


At 17:29 I got an email from Alpari UK
"We are getting a lot of orders from your account, if you are using an EA, please disable it or check the settings on it as it is disrupting our servers"

Currently getting "Trade Is Disabled" if I try to place a manual order
Would the 10 simultaneous orders cause them to email me or is it something else?

Hi,

I don't use the MS on this EA. As I explained with the settings--the first level is set at 50 000 pips for level 1. I use the settings for 34 pairs

Initially I did use a template to set how the chart looked but dropped the EA onto each chart.
and loaded the set file for 62c.
Then I enabled Expert Advisors.

I'll clear everything and start again - we'll see what happens.

I have to get Trade is disabled removed first

You must drop the EA onto the chart after everything is ready. And load the EA for each chart

Thanks for your time on this.
Turns out my fault.
The account has a 2 lot limit so orders were getting refused at the server.
6c2 was trying to place lots and lots of orders (I switched on manual confirmation)
As I hit the red X to not place each order 6c2 tried the next order.
So orders for 1lot then 2 lots then 3lots up to 10lots were attempted
then 10 orders for 0.05.
I think it must have been repeating the attempts and getting refused at the server.
Hence the email

I changed onto a different account so it should be OK now

Hi, yes 6c2 and 6c4 are like spam bots. They will try to open an order about 10 times per tick until it gets through. This seems to be the only way to force criminals to actually open an order. This is the same reason why some people got enormous log files. It will try to open a position, and log that try, for about 10 times for every incoming tick. Have that running on 28 pairs for a couple of hours....
