GOLD has finally started making its way to DMS1. The SL seems to hold quit well.

It helps when u are trading with the trend.

I have used one of Steve's old ea template and the LibSSSRv2.mq4 very generously shared by Slipshod to arrive at a SD ea.

It has so far taken a trade if the pending order is triggered by the next bar. However, if the PO is not filled by the bar after entry to SR ZONE, then the PO is deleted. Somewhere in the code below needs to be changed to allow the PO to be valid for xxx number of bars.

Any coder who wish to have a copy of the yet unfinished ea to look for the bug, please send me a PM.

The ea uses H4 STOCHS for pullback, and trades on H1 SR zones, as I originally intended. However, the stochs time frame can be changed by using extern variable. It can be very easily adapted to trade RSITMA as pullback. Trading H4 stochs and H4 SR zones is a very viable option. It would be wonderful if we can get this ea to work. Then we can use it for forward testing.

In the mean time, I shall continue looking.

The Dow is setting another record high today. This is when greed overcomes common sense, with retail investors getting sucked in the rally while the professionals are slowly unwinding their longs.

Added code to TP at Daily (or weekly) Pivots and SL at res_hi plus buffer/sup_lo minus buffer.

So far, many profitable pending orders got deleted after one bar. So, still waiting for a saviour coder passing by to help.

If this ea ever gets to full gestation, all the credit will be due to Steve for his ea template and to Slipshod for the SS_SR library, and to many coders in this forum whose codes I have "borrowed". If not, the project will be stillborn.

A new PO for EURCAD. H4 stochs OS, price enters S zone.

Abe talk just over an hour ago has sent all yen pairs spiralling up.

I normally stop trading at London close, so missed the rally.

There was absolutely nothing earlier in the day to drive the yen pairs..

That is why it is so difficult to trade forex.

Two of my demo ea's caught the rally though.

Is there no end to this rally ???
