Just for fun. Last time USDJPY had a big momentum move, the Fourier wave analysis forecast (orange line at right) worked beautifully. This time is giving this pullback + continuation pattern. Should it be right again...?

I am going to ask what is most probably a very dumb question. I notice that when the RSI2 indicator is at the top signalling a pending Sell for a downward movement the CSS indicator is Green signalling the opposite direction which actually nullifies the the RSI2 signal. It is very seldom that I find both signals in harmony. It actually appears that using only the CSS indicator for setting the pending orders will work better.

Why not? Price moves in waves, and with totally different analysis, there is Divergence, best explained by Dr Alexander Elder in a book I recently read on Kindle - "Two Roads Diverged: Trading Divergences"

So on demo, let us observe a counter trend trade, great R:R, if not entered nothing lost

8-)

Go to properties and change 'dimgray' in stop level and volume colors by lime and red or whatever you like.
i know how do do that of course
that's not my problem
read again my post, it's about having issue with the CSS display once i save my new template, even if i modify my template on a off chart

anybody see what i'm trying to do ?
Here try this template. It is the one I plan on using with the update I am writing now. Let me know if this solves the problem or you still have issues. Gotta go testing starts at school in 40 minutes and have to set up.

if i use this new tpl the bars on CSS are very different from your original tpl

now i can see the sl/tp lines ok, but the problem remains on CSS display
if you switch from this tpl to your old tpl, does your CSS display exactly the same ?

The only difference between the two is efficiency. I have no idea what you are talking about. The indies load up and it takes a bit for them to upload data and be current. I dont understand what you mean, of course they will look different because the templates update with price action. The math formula is the same????? The only other issue is broker candle time start and end. That would make them slightly different but not that much.

RSI2 indicator is at the top signalling a pending Sell

You answered your own question. The RSI 2 is a signal for a Sell. You get the signal, you set the pending trade. When price goes back into the trend you are in the trade. The signal was correct. That is what it is suppose to do. What happens after that is irrelevant.

Maybe you should post a screenshot of what you are blabbering on and on about, so that at least one sober person here could understand your problem,,,

Hi,

Interesting...My one issue with Fourier wave analysis used in a time data stream is it uses normalized data whereas I like to look at patterns that have all influences including anomalies thrown into the mix... otherwise it is a good tool to investigate higher probability trades... :)
