If I remember correctly, I suggested to Baluda that he should reset the indi when the account went flat. Have you tried exiting all your positions?

Thanks Gary. Well, I'm not going to exit my positions to reset the indy, but I'll give it a shot next time I'm all out.

At the time he developed the indi, most of the systems being tested (and I think all of the "basket" type systems) were "trade the basket as one unit" types, so you entered and exited the entire basket fairly often. Resetting when you went flat made sense.

You might be able to reset it by deleting all the global variables that start with "BaludaHWM" and "BaludaLWM", but I have no idea if that would break something.

Posting here so as to not clog up the other discussion. I'm having some trouble loading the 10.5/10.5 CSS Info page: loading the template instantly leads to Empty4 not responding.

This happens on both my PC and laptop which should be powerful enough to run it (especially the PC).

Has anyone had this issue and resolved it?

Any help is greatly appreciated, looking forward to using this new addition, even if I do have uni final exams to be working on...

Maybe your broker is offering too much pairs. Try to go to marketwatch and hide (right mouse) exotics, metals, etc. You only need 26, 27 pairs (the most often traded) to have a good CSS reading.

How many pairs do you really need to trade? Not pointing fingers, because I do this myself. I have 22 charts open but why? We are trading with 8 currencies. Think about it.

How would it affect my choices if I traded with only, say, 12 pairs. I could get all the biggies, and would surely keep better track of what was going on. Probably better yet with only 8 pairs.

That is another reason not to mix up exotic pairs or metals. Bob said he hates CHF, so why even bother to look at it?

Let that be a lesson to myself.

Hello Murph, this question may be a little outside 10.4, but in fact is 10.3... however I know it is a real dummie question since I have been trading for 13 years but I am buggered if I cant get the daily pivot and daily open indicators that nanning bob uses....silly I know ,but if you don't know ,its not so silly,can you help??? Incidentally my first venture into forex was with peter bain and his big dogs books. wish I could recall them.....Bill
