In real life, I would be setting the ea to only sell the euro right now (tradelong=false), so I expect the euro long to end as a loser.

Another interesting experiment, combing OB_OS code using MTF stochs and MTF Alfslope borrowed from KH's Crossfader and Pivot cross code from Steve's Pinoccio.

The trading logic : if OB and Bid cross nearest support, sell ; if OS and Ask cross nearest resistance, buy. I have added a 240MA filter to trade with the trend. I will be demoing on H4 and H1 next week.

You need to have Alf indi in the experts/ indi folder, LibSSSRv2.mqh file in experts/include, LibSSSRv2.mq4 file in experts/library folder. Set UsePivots=true, UseSlipshod=false.

I do not know if it is any good, but the use of MTF indi and Pipstep idea certainly fascinates me. Thanks to Steve and KH for sharing their ea's so freely. Their code snippets certainly give a non coder like me many hours of fun.

This ea is not trading at all, but another adaptation, using D1 and H4 MACD cross as trigger for buy/sell is, and right now it is 1.8% in profit with 1.2% DD.

The same indicators, library files are required.

The pipstep thing is certainly fascinating. Trading 2% equity balance, the profit is now 3% with floating DD of 1%.

All my other ea's are doing very little today.

The results so far. 3.5% profit, just over 1% DD.

I know Crossfader ea uses a high risk strategy that can break your bank, but if you can get the daily macd trend correct, it can run for days, and hopefully the winners can overcome the losers.

I am getting remarkable results with this version of CF ea. After three days of trading, profits 7%, floating DD 0.5%. Maximum DD less than 5%.

The safest settings for supdem ea are to trade H4 tf, set H4 stochs to true, H4 240ma filter on, SRSl = true, TP = 0.8 x ATR, StrategyExit=true.

From my previous experience trading the II_SUPDEM INDI, trading below H1 was not profitable because of too much market noise.

You may not have many trades, but there will be less drawdowns. This is my experience trading other methods including Bob's 10.4 system.

I have set it at 6 to test whether the ea is sending pending orders or not. A better setting would be 3.That is to say the pending order should be triggered after three 4 hour bar, otherwise, it would be deleted. The quicker PA enters and leaves an SR zone, the better the signal.

So, at some stage in the future, after you have open trades in your demo, you may want to reset it to the default setting of 3.
